  This is a great hotel. Close to all stores, and multiple eating places. Breakfast is free snd worthwhile all on its own.

  Nice new hotel, large area to hang out with hockey teams etc for a pizza party, drinking with friends late into the evening. Catered pretty well to the kids, didn't bother them when playing mini sticks. 8 minutes to the arena.. large clean pool, nice rooms. All around very nice!

  The suite was spotless, and the staff were courteous and friendly. It's conveniently located near Canadian Tire Centre. However, the TV system didn't allow us to watch Prime Video or movies/series ordered from YouTube. The included breakfast options were simple and adequate, but nothing like a breakfast restaurant.

  Although this is a well-appointed, well-located, tastefully decorated, safe and clean hotel, our two-night experience staying there was not satisfactory at all. This is why: I am a wheelchair-bound veteran and senior. I had booked a two-night stay for my wife and I because we wanted to tour the area and this hotel featured an accessible swimming pool with a 'lift'. I called the hotel a few days prior to our stay and was informed that the pool was indeed accessible. When we checked-in, we immediately asked for confirmation that the pool lift was functional and were told it was. We went to inspect the pool and lift after check-in and noted that the battery pack was not installed. I informed the front desk and was told that the hotel staff would look into it. We returned to the front desk later and were informed that the service person was completing their shift, but would have the next shift make sure it was ready for use. I let the staff know that we would be going to supper, but would return and would want to use the pool by 7 PM. When we returned, the lift was in the lowered position, but when we asked at the desk, I was informed that the battery was not working, that the lift had not been used in a very long time, and that it would not be available that night. I was told that it would be repaired by the next day. This didn't happen. When we returned to the hotel the next afternoon, the lift had been removed from the pool completely, and I was told that it would be replaced, but that it would not be ready that day. I was offered that the manager would help us book a stay at another nearby hotel with a working lift, which meant we would have tom extend our stay in the area, which was not possible. I was then offered compensation for one-night's stay, and a series of excuses regarding the reasons the lift did not function. The entire reason I chose this hotel was for the accessible pool, as there are plenty of other hotel choices in the area. Otherwise, the hotel itself, the staff and the room were of good quality. But the number of 'excuses' rather than simple apologies, and the inability of the hotel to provide the accessible pool - as featured on the website and in a website photograph, made our stay a very disappointing experience for us both. Receiving one-night's compensation does not go nearly far enough to make it right. I am a Hilton Honors member, and I will definitely NOT recommend this hotel or stay there ever again.
