Clean, nice young man who was understanding and patient however the rule of $50 deposit by credit card only took us by surprise.

Situé en bordure d'autoroute. Pile a mi-chemin pour se rendre a Toronto. Le déjeuner est très bon. Belle chambre. On entend pas les voisins. Grand stationnement.

Had three nights booked, and we contacted the hotel previous to make sure we could park the tour bus there. Arrived and was told we could not park in their parking lot. The front office staff were rude and not accommodating whatsoever. They cancelled are reservations. We when down the street and found a better hotel for a cheaper price.

Due to projects in the area I've spent many nights here this year. It's my go to hotel when in Eastern Ontario. The staff are exceptional, polite and attentive. Breakfast is always plentiful and hot, and the rooms are clean and well maintained.

This is a follow-up to my previous review about the feces on the bathroom wall, as I noticed the manager responded publicly suggesting I should reach out. Their reply is misleading. I reached out multiple times, by phone, email, and voicemail, and even went through Expedia to try to get this resolved. It wasn’t until I escalated the issue to Hilton Corporate that anything was actually done. Corporate reviewed my case, agreed the situation was unacceptable, and approved a refund.
Additionally, the staff on-site needs to be held accountable for their behavior, including Carol, who claimed to be a supervisor. Her conduct was extremely unprofessional, she was defensive, visibly frustrated, and dismissive rather than solution-focused. The way she handled the situation was hostile and completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing role. Someone with that attitude should not be in hospitality; perhaps a role behind the scenes, where she doesn’t have to deal directly with guests, would be more fitting.
For the manager to publicly suggest I should “reach out” as if I hadn’t already done so is disingenuous and dismissive. The issue was never about a lack of communication, it was about a lack of accountability. Guests deserve honesty and respect, not a scripted response after ignoring genuine concerns.
