- RDRay DeckerDec 31, 20255.0Had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn Youngstown–North. Fair price, clean room, friendly check-in, and a convenient spot for a cross-country stop. The same gentleman who checked me in also greeted me the next morning, just as polite (maybe even more!) than the night before. Here’s what truly stood out. About about two hours after hitting the road west on I-80, I got a call letting me know I had forgotten my laptop in the room. I wouldn’t have noticed until much later in the day. He didn’t just alert me, he offered to handle everything. He contacted UPS, packaged my computer with care, and had it shipped out the same afternoon. It arrived safely and works perfectly. That kind of follow-through is rare and so greatly appreciated. I drive this route a handful of times a year, and this will now be a routine stop for me. I don’t know his name, but if you see this, THANK YOU. I look forward to stopping in again and sharing my sincere gratitude with you in person. 🙏

There's no good seal for the door frame so you hear everyone that walks by and it lets the light in from the hallway at night. The staff was friendly. All things considered, it wasn't a bad stop for what we needed to get out of a snowstorm.
