  Room and hotel great, restaurant was horrible. For breakfast they had one server working a banquet on second floor and managing the restaurant. Which meant no service in restaurant. We waited 29 minutes for eggs and toast, had to get our own silverware and napkins. We had to ask for ham for the toast, she threw three packs on our table. Our family went later in the morning and had to leave after no one showed up to seat them for 15 minutes.

  A small group of us spent a night here as we passed through on a business trip. It’s a beautifully historic building. A fun setting! 👍🏼I was actually upgraded as a Hilton Diamond member to a king suite which is atypical for Hiltons in the USA. 👍🏼 The reason I gave only 4 stars is the service and cleanliness. At the front desk the ladies working there seemed much more interested in getting back to their conversation or whatever it was they were doing on their phones. Another time I approached the desk the young lady there was wearing an earbud and did not remove it when I approached. She also was not that interested in helping me. 👎🏻On cleanliness, multiple floors had trash bags in the hallways. Not just guests putting food bags I. The hall but big trash bags. The big problem for me is that the trash was never picked up. In my 16 hours at the hotel many of the bags remained throughout my stay. 👎🏻 Dinner in town is really only available at the hotel restaurant which is actually quite good. 👍🏼 Breakfast was great with excellent service. 👍🏼 I would recommend the biscuits and gravy!

  There is no late night places to eat but you can door dash..walking distance to the corvelli centre and great lunch options in walking distance. Breakfast downstairs in the attached restaurant was pretty good but was closed for lunch so we couldn't try there.

  The place has a very unique vibe to it. Seems like a historical building. Lots of marble and beautiful woodwork throughout that you don’t see at many hotels of this nature. I enjoy Hiltons and this added to the reasons why Also has a great restaurant attached to it and good parking near a lot of things in town.

  I had a $300 port-a-crib stolen off the curb as I was unloading into the hotel because the main entrance was closed off and we had to go through a labyrinth of hallways to make it to the elevators. They gave us perfunctory I am sorry's but couldn't do more. Didn't see surveillance cameras tword the street entrance so we didn't bother filing a police report. Later they found and gave us a crib Wouldn't have mattered anyway. The paid parking near the garbage bins was on the opposite side of the hotel which was a bit of a bother. We went for a wedding and because of a discount were ok with the experience. Unless going for business and on a company card I would say not worth it. Staff was great. As helpful as possible and very polite and accommodating. I spoke with someone who told me the homeless were always around this area and that it was a problem. I feel the hotel could have taken steps to midigate problems but did not. That is a management issue.
