- HLHeather (Liam)Nov 3, 20254.0We stayed here (and booked a Wedding Block) for our Hobbit wedding at the Ohio Renaissance Faire. It was a perfect location, and the space out back with the pond was tranquil and relaxing. Honestly, the stay was great--the only reason I'm deducting a star is because the bed was SO firm. If you love a firm mattress you're going to be fine, but I had trouble sleeping. The third night I asked for some extra duvets to help and that made all the difference--BIG thanks to Brayden (sorry if I got your name wrong my guy, but you were my hero, thank you) for providing excellent service, and to Samantha for all of the help with the wedding block. We all had such a wonderful time. Also, the breakfast bar is great! Definitely the most substantial complementary breakfast bar I've seen in a long time. Would stay here again, but next time I'll know to ask for some extra duvets up front ☺️

- MMMelanie MacRaeSep 23, 20255.0The hotel and room was clean, comfortable and well laid out. The bed ended up giving me some of the best sleep I've had in a while. Even the kids kept saying how comfy the bed was and how they wanted a mattress like that for home. The staff was friendly, prompt and accommodating. It was so refreshing to have polite and genuinely friendly front desk staff. The poor gal working the breakfast area was a bit overwhelmed and doing the work of two people. It could have been a random staffing error (or someone called off) so she hustled to keep up with refilling things and client demand. She did really well. The pool is on the smaller size without a hot tub but it was clean and well maintained. And if I'm not mistaken it may have been a salt water pool which was really nice. They have a nice outdoor seating area and a pond out back of the building so it makes for a nice outdoor space when the front of the hotel is facing a bunch of businesses. But even with the hotel being close to many things the building itself was nicely insulated and kept out the road noise. While the walls in between rooms weren't paper thin so it was great not being able to hear the hallways very much or the neighbors. I will definitely stay again.
