I stayed In room 1136 and wow the view was great overlooking the river and bright colored bridges, sorry not from the area so don't know if im looking towards the south or west but you can check out the pics. At the lobby restaurant Assembly, I Had two Makers Old Fashioned, was great and perfectly made, had the oysters and unfortunately they tasted watered down, never leave oysters in water before shuckling them. Keep them dry and refrigerated.

Unfortunately, the experience was deeply frustrating from the start. We paid for the King river side suite but were assigned a room with two beds. The front desk provided zero warning about this change, meaning we did not discover the issue until we had already reached the room. When we went back to the desk, we were met with an argument about overbooking. Claiming we received an "upgrade" to a river view, which was misleading, as that feature was included in the suite we originally paid $250 for. We chose not to argue further to avoid completely ruining our only opportunity for a date night this year. The issues were compounded the next morning when I discovered dirty socks (not belonging to mu husband or myself) and a used washcloth under the bathroom vanity. This level of oversight suggests the room was not properly cleaned and is entirely unacceptable. To pay $250 for an experience that failed on both the promised accommodations and basic hygiene is inexcusable. This was not at all how we wished to spend our annual night away, and we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Loved the spaciousness of the suite, especially since we had our dog with us. The staff we met were all very friendly & helpful. Valet parking was a nice option at a reasonable price. I'd definitely stay again & allow more time to explore the area. Looks like there's a lot to offer.
