    This Hampton Inn in Springfield, OH is completely unacceptable and unsafe. I was moved twice to different rooms, due to bedbugs. Was forced to drive late at night in an unfamiliar area, which was not only extremely unsafe but also completely avoidable. The only available hotel was over an hour away, and the staff offered no recommendations, assistance, or concern for our safety. Gracie at the front desk was rude, dismissive, and completely lacked customer service, telling me there was “nothing she could do,” while other guests on the same floor remained exposed to bedbugs. When Gracie contacted the General Manager, Janae Woods, she did nothing. When I called a few days later because I had not heard anything back, instead of addressing the problem or even listening to my concerns, Janae immediately dismissed me, went as far as to deny that I had even been a guest, and then abruptly hung up the phone. This level of disregard and hostility is shocking. Adding to the problem, I was informed by Gracie the hotel has no housekeeping, which explains the stained beds, filthy bathrooms, and lack of basic cleanliness. Rather than treating this as the urgent health and safety issue that it is, the staff acted as if I was the problem, offering no apology, no empathy, and no solution until I pressed the issue repeatedly. This level of disregard, hostility, and outright refusal to acknowledge the situation is both shocking and deeply unprofessional. Rather than showing any willingness to resolve the issue or provide the courtesy and respect that guests deserve, the hotel’s leadership treated me as if my experience and concerns were invalid. The dismissive nature of this interaction only compounded the stress and frustration of what had already been a very unpleasant stay. This experience was stressful, and dangerous. I will be reporting this property to the Clark County Health Department and Hilton Corporate. For your health and safety, do not stay here under any circumstances.
