They have a bar but not a place to have one cold one after a long work week. They don't have an alcohol license, strange for a Hilton Garden. Staff in the early AM was confrontational and rude. Frequent traveler here, no need for this and this was a 1st in my experience. There is a tru by Hilton right beside. Better value to stay there next time.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati/Sharonville for one night while visiting family, and this visit was very different from my past stays. I’ve been to this property before, as well as the Tru next door, but this was my first time bringing my younger family members with me since they love to swim. I stopped in earlier in the day to compare both pools before booking. When I first walked in, the younger Black woman at the desk didn’t make eye contact and immediately passed me off to Bart. I checked out the pool, went back to my car, and booked the room. When I returned, Bart and another man, possibly the manager, were helping guests. Because the key card system was malfunctioning, the younger gentleman walked me to my first room, 305. I set my bags down and noticed a long crack in the window that had been taped. I mentioned it to Bart on my way out before going to get the kids. When we came back, Bart handed me the keys to 305 again, and that’s when I did my full room check. I immediately found large stains on the mattress. I called the front desk, and Bart came up with new keys and moved us to room 306. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong sewage smell, so we stepped right back out. Bart then moved us to room 315, but the mattress in that room also had visible stains. At that point, I chose not to stay. Bart was the best part of this whole situation — he stayed professional the entire time, handled every room change without frustration, and processed a full refund on the spot. I appreciate him for that. I’m a travel agent, and I share my stays with clients and other travelers. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I think it’s important to be honest here. The cleanliness and maintenance concerns: stained mattresses in multiple rooms, the taped window in 305, the sewage smell in 306 are things travelers should be aware of. Bart did his part, but the property itself needs attention to bring it back to the level I’ve experienced in the past.

Price and ease of travel are what makes this hotel 8/10. You get nickle and dimed over things like breakfast. My home office is 8 minutes away, I will likely stay in a different hotel next time.
