The staff was kind; however, the condition of the room made the stay uncomfortable. Upon arrival, there was hair in the sink and even inside the mini-fridge, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. Most disturbing was the vent above the shower, which was caked with dust, debris, and buildup that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time.
To add to the disappointment, the complimentary cookie provided was cold and stale. There was also active construction taking place in the lobby during the stay, which was not disclosed in advance and impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the gym was essentially unusable, barricaded behind old furniture rather than properly closed or maintained.
While the staff was polite, the lack of cleanliness and ongoing maintenance issues made this an unpleasant stay.

Room layout is unique, for the better. Hotel is tucked away in a bizarre-to-get-to way. Room is spacious.

Renovation taking place and from the looks of the rooms (torn wallpaper, worn paint)...the hotel should have shut down a floor at a time to expedite the renovation process. Safety is of concern due to the back door/#3 being left unlocked at night. No lights on back side of building. I'm pretty sure people are sleeping in their cars and found it convenient to use the RR outside of RM 131/window. Cameras are everywhere but not sure they are being monitored. The room/hallway wreaked of urine/old musky smell. After 29/30yrs as a Hilton Honors member, I can honestly say, BY FAR, THIS IS MY WORST EXPERIENCE! If it wasn't for a Wedding, Christmas Holiday events and convenient local travels, I would have left sooner! I spent minimal time in the hotel. Beds were comfortable. DoubleTree DO BETTER!! Totally embarrassed to share this experience!

Unfortunately I made a non-refundable reservation so I'm toast - but there's still hope for you to not stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, the room was big, and the hotel staff was friendly. Those are the only pros of this hotel. The room was dated, the carpet had holes, the bathroom fan was falling in, the blinds wouldn't shut all the way, and you could see patches of wallpaper cut out and hastily glued back in where previous repairs were made. I paid about $95 for one night through T-mobile's discount service. I think the room is maybe worth $50. I was shocked at how dingy and outdated it was - typically DoubleTrees are very nice to stay in. I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time. All of the pictures people have posted speak for themselves.
