yall must be used to going to crappy hotels because this one sucks. my husband travels for work and i tag along sometimes. we only go to hilton hotels, nothing fancy like a resort or anything. this hotel isnt even decent. this is the first bad review i have ever written. 1) when we came in there was absolutely no one in the lobby/ front desk, after driving hours AND its not even a week after christmas. we wanted to get some snacks and stuff from the front desk and literally all of their shelves were empty. it wouldn't matter anyways because there was no one to ring us up. 2) the hotel room had ONE trash can in the bathroom and it didnt even have a bag, there were weird brown drop marks on the walls next to the bed. 3) as most of the other reviews say, there is no microwave or coff maker which usually isnt a problem but on top of everything... come on.. 4) they only provide 2 towels. like i said earlier, we ONLY go to hilton hotels and this is the only one who only gives two towels. all of their other hiltons have at least 4 towels, makeup wipes, multiple small rags, more than one trash can 😀 and FOOD!! this one does not. 5) THIS IS THE WORST PART. the power went out for hours. at first it was only our bathroom (how does that even happen in a hotel) then it was the whole room and it wasnt just us. and i wouldnt be surprised if thats why their cold shelves downstairs (where the food was supposed to be) was empty because of power kept going out. And if that's the case, there should be some type of warning before you book a room because I would've loved to know that the power is repeatedly going out. the lights were constantly flickering the day after also. 5) the two nights we were here, i was woken up BOTH times because they must of been doing construction or something. there was some electric tool being used that literally sounded like a chainsaw. if you're planning to do construction then don't give out the rooms that are around the construction. On top of the lights going out. 6) this part isnt really the hotels fault but the kind of crowd they bring in SUCKS!! constant dogs barking all throughout the night, slamming doors, babies screaming, no one uses the do not disturb signs so house keeping going down to every single door banging on the doors and yelling house keeping, and no one answering the doors ofc because they dont actually want house keeping, they just dont know how to use the dnd signs 😀. and not to mention the constant police sirens, not a good area in general. who ever came up with the idea to put a hotel in this area need to get fired. and there was also a loose tile right outside the shower, every time we stepped on it we could here the tiles grinding against each other. overall, not a great experience at all. its possible that i was already bothered by the lights going out and the construction and the "small things" just pilled on. there is a hilton right next door, i would recommend going there.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. We stayed for two nights upon arrival we noticed our door would not lock so I went to call down to the front desk and our phone cord was broken. This made us very uncomfortable about staying here. We asked for a new room but the hotel was all booked up for family weekend @BGSU I assumed they would have repaired the door and fixed the cord the next day but nope they did not do anything. I was told by the front desk that the manager would contact me. That did not happen either I had to keep calling and finally got ahold of the manager. The Manager wanted to make things right for us and said they would give us a refund for our room a few days later we received a refund. Now A few weeks later they recharged my Credit card so I have called many times and the owner is refusing to give us a credit.
