My son was bitten by bed bugs in room 225 on November 1st, 2025. I escalated to Hilton Honors Customer Service and they are taking care of it. Girl at front desk I reported it to handled it very poorly. Staff needs better training on how to manage these situations.

This is right off the highway and is very easy to find. If it's 11p and it's raining or snowing or the kids are cranky and you NEED to get off the road, this is a ...good-ish... place to stay. The person at the desk is/was extremely helpful, kind, patient, welcoming, but the hotel is old and is looking a little shabby on the inside. My room had a bit of mold growing in the bathroom, the carpet looked dirty, there are only two lights in the room so it's quite dim in the evening, and this mirror door wouldn't close... But, I only ran into it three times, (maybe because of the lighting...) so that's good, right? Also, some of the washcloths are a cream color, but they're not supposed to be... Not sure what happened with the dirty clothes bag either, but I'm kinda funny when it comes to holes in bags, so that makes might just be personal preference. Would I stay again? You betcha!

I've stayed in many Hampton inns and I will say this place is in need of an update. I will say the rooms were very clean, the room itself needs an update very dated. The breakfast was lackluster, the eggs were water logged, sausage was warm, potatoes were good and hot. Just not a lot of selection. (See pictures) no selection of milk, yogurt, cereal or fruit. The 1st day the breakfast area was very dirty. I've stayed in worse places but I would expect Hampton Inn & Suites to have a higher standard. That being said im brand loyal, but IHG is looking real good right now 🤯😬

I will start by saying I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns all over and this was my least favorite. We stay in Perrysburg quite often, this is the first time at this Hampton and this hotel definitely is in need of an update! The amenities in the room are old had no idea what button would call the desk because they were missing. The charging port for the night table was broken off and the refrigerator didn’t freeze (it was a tray of water). The breakfast selection was ok however compared to other Hampton Inns, this one could use an updated waffle iron. I will say that they must treat for pests because we found a large roach on the bathroom floor half dead on its back. The elevator consistently smelled of marijuana which didn’t make for a comfortable feeling traveling with little ones. Check in and check out was easy with the app however I found upon check out that charges were added for “parking recapture fee” which was never listed on my reservation. I think you can definitely do better.
