- EWElaine WhiteJan 2, 20265.0We had a wonderful two-night stay at this new hotel. Our group had 4 rooms booked for a family event. The hotel staff was so helpful in the planning and execution of our family Christmas event. We used their meeting room for our group of 25. The staff, especially Andrea, Holly and Charlie provided outstanding service. The breakfast area has large widows overlooking the water. We spotted bald eagles both days we were there while eating a great hot breakfast including fresh made waffles with chocolate chips added! The meeting room we used for our celebration got warm and they immediately sent maintenance to adjust the thermostat, cooled the room and even came back later to check to see if everything was still ok. Because of the food and wrapping paper from presents at the party housekeeping even brought in extra trash cans! We were so thrilled with the quality of the service, we invited them all in to get a plate of food and some desserts to repay their superior service in a small way. We have been in luxury hotels all around the world and rarely have seen this high quality of service and friendliness of staff. They are all to be commended.
