Gentrification remake made just built new paint smell still in the hallways. Dirt lots still showing in maps. King bed room option had great space, the tub in bathroom is sooooooooooo small it didn’t qualify as one to be used unless you are the size of a Lego person. The water is free … next to the elevator, the restaurant bar on the third floor is bougie to enjoy as a couple. Still not 100% on the parking but at 10$ I’m not going to worry about it, if anything I would have just wanted a blocked area for us since it is shared.

I truly wanted to give this hotel a full five-star review because nearly everything about our stay was wonderful. My husband and I traveled to Cincinnati to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-designed, and very inviting from the moment you walk in. It’s been a hectic weeks so I let it sit and see if I still felt the same way. I especially want to recognize the staff who truly made our stay special. Kelcie at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. In the morning when we needed more towels in our room, she assisted us without hesitation, and when we couldn’t find a steamer, she personally brought one up to our room. Makayla at the coffee shop was also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and made great drinks that started our morning off right. The restaurant and bar were another highlight of our stay. The restaurant staff were nice, the food was very good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by an interaction we observed involving the operations manager. While he was polite in front of guests, his behavior made us uncomfortable. He was repeatedly sniffling, touching his nose, and talking excessively, which came across as unprofessional and a little concerning. Additionally, the way he interacted with employees felt forced and insincere, as though his friendliness was only for show when guests were present. This was disappointing to witness, as it took away from what otherwise would have been a nearly perfect stay. The hotel itself, the amenities, and most of the staff were fantastic, but due to this experience, we’re unsure if we would return if management remains the same. I truly hope this is addressed, as the rest of the team deserves recognition for the excellent service they provide. I will say that the general manager seemed like a very good manager that cares about her staff and their well being genuinely.

We stayed here with our family and overall had a good experience, with a few challenges that impacted our stay. Pros: - The hotel aesthetic is beautiful — truly a standout - Our room was spacious, modern, and very well designed - Updated fixtures and amenities throughout - Great location - Loved having a coffee shop available in the morning - Nice personal touch with our name displayed on the TV Cons / Opportunities: - We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and had to wait a few minutes for someone to come to the front desk - Although we had confirmed pack-and-play availability the day before, the front desk associate was not aware they were offered - She was kind and genuinely tried to help, but it took about 40 minutes to locate one, which made getting our kids to sleep late at night difficult - When the late. shift employee arrived, that team member knew exactly where the pack-and-plays were. Perhaps something could have been done to help us a little sooner. - During this time, other guests were also waiting to check in, so additional staffing or quicker support may have helped - Our name on the TV was misspelled — a small thing, but worth noting if offering a personalized touch - The TV in the room did not work despite trying both the remote and the manual buttons Overall, the room and hotel itself were lovely, and we enjoyed our stay aesthetically. The challenges felt more operational than personal, and the front desk associate did her best to help. With better training and coverage—especially in the evenings—this could easily be a much stronger experience.

Hotel is clean and nice. The front desk staff there the evening when we checked in were so rude and unprofessional, which seems to be a theme after reading reviews. I had the same issue as another poster below about water. I wanted to purchase water or get the complimentary water offered by Hilton. I was told they don’t do that very loudly and rudely in front of other customers. The “water kegs” that I have never saw before didn’t work. The cups I was told to rudely use by the front desk lady was dirty with crud. My husband left and ran to a nearby store and purchased water. I was really disappointed with this stay. It could be a great hotel with some training or new staff. Also, please start offering bottled water to purchase in the front.

The Rambler, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Montgomery, Cincinnati, is one of those places that makes you question online ratings. This hotel sits at a 3.9, and I genuinely have no idea why. It’s as good as any boutique hotel I’ve stayed in, provided you lean into the vibe instead of fighting it. The rooms are impressively spacious, especially the suites. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite that had plenty of room for socializing, relaxing, and actually living for a few days instead of just sleeping. The décor is sharp and intentional, striking a balance between modern edge and comfort. The bathroom deserves special mention. The shower and tub combo was easily the best I’ve ever seen at this price point. It felt luxurious, not like an afterthought. The staff came across as newer, but friendly and genuinely helpful. They worked hard to get us settled and made the stay easy. That effort matters and Emma gave an above and beyond job. One complaint, and it’s a fair one. Hilton Tapestry properties need to stop pretending paper cups belong in rooms like this. These are beautiful spaces. Put real glasses in them. Guests shouldn’t have to “borrow” from the bar. Overall, The Rambler delivers far more than expected and does it with style.
