This property has a lot of potential but needs serious modern upgrades and better consistency.
The good:
One of the most unique and well-presented breakfasts I’ve seen at a Homewood—real plates and silverware, which is appreciated.
Rooms are fantastic overall: huge bathroom space, plenty of room with two queens, and very quiet on the top floor (most nights).
Front desk staff were very helpful and tried to offer solutions when issues were brought up.
Full kitchen setup is provided (in theory).
Major issues:
The living room furniture is absolutely disgusting—so dirty it can’t be steamed clean. This needs to be fully replaced with furniture that can actually be sanitized between guests.
Kitchen functionality is lacking: no sponges or dish soap provided, rusted can opener that didn’t work, and pots/pans were filthy enough that I had to buy Scotch-Brite pads and scrub them myself before use.
Items are oddly placed—on our second stay, the kitchen towel and washcloth were stuffed behind the silverware drawer.
Laundry is card-only and only on the second floor, which isn’t convenient for extended stays.
Smoking is allowed right at the main entrance, forcing non-smokers to walk through it every time they enter or exit.
Cleanliness & food safety concern (serious): On 12/8, I witnessed a cook wipe his face/nose with a kitchen rag, place it on the counter, then—without washing his hands—handle a hot pan, grab bacon with bare hands (including pieces that fell), and put it directly onto the guest-serving pan. This was extremely concerning and unacceptable from a food safety standpoint.
Noise & disruptions:
One night was extremely noisy from the room above us.
Instead of blocking the hotel for deep cleaning, carpet and furniture cleaning was done while guests were staying, interrupting our stay for two full days (8 a.m.–5 p.m.). Workers entered, left the door open, and came and went for hours. This was invasive and inconvenient.
On 12/16, maintenance knocked and immediately entered the room while announcing “maintenance,” without waiting for a response. I was about to get in the shower. They said they’d return the next day to finish the install—but no one ever came back.
Bottom line: Some of this may sound petty to occasional travelers, but for those of us who live on the road, these things matter. With upgrades, better hygiene practices, and respect for guest privacy, this could be a great extended-stay hotel. As it stands, it falls short of the standard Homewood Suites should meet.

We spent 2 nights here in a suite over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The pickings for AirBNB's in this area was slim so this location was fine and served it's purpose.
The location is near a lot of retail/fast food which is handy if you need it. I loved there was a Starbucks down the street and we went there twice.
I will say the service was above and beyond as I got text messages from "Dennis" asking how my stay was so far and if I needed anything. My guess is this was some sort of AI program but regardless, the staff was attentive and gave responses pretty quickly.
What I needed help with was there was a strange smell in the room and I thought there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. They took a look at it and sprayed some odorizer to update the smell. We came back to the room several hours later and it smelled somewhat better.
If you want a place to sleep, this place is fine.

Had a great time here at homewood suites. The breakfast was great lots of options to choose from. The pool was great and clean. The rooms fabulous, loved how clean they were and had a lovely sweet and awesome housekeeper. I don’t think I’m spelling her name right but her name is Shawna I think her name was that long. She was the sweetest. When I book a trip again I would love for her to me my housekeeper, definitely giving her 5 stars.

This is a great place to stay. Loved the rooms they were nice and clean. Pool was great breakfast was awesome the few times I went down. Location is in a great spot with Walmart being close by and other restaurants to choose from. And lastly the housekeeper that cleaned my room while I was there was the most sweetest housekeeper I’ve ever had she went above and beyond for us. Her smile can definitely make your day better. I believe her name was Shana. I think I spelled it right. When I come back and stay here again I hope to have her again I definitely would have to request her. I give her and the hotel 10 stars if I could.
