Stay here for a few hours on our drive back home. We checked in around 3am and at first we couldn't find the front desk person and I went to the bathroom and once I come back my boyfriend was getting us checked in. The room was clean and the hotel felt like it was newer. I'm not from the area so I'm don't know for sure. Anyways we slept until about 9am and showered and got ready to head out. Before we left we did stop by the free breakfast bar and grab some food. I have stayed at other Tru hotels and this was the first one that I've been to that offered bowls instead of just plates. So I was happy to see those as it made taking food easier because I didn't have to worry about my food sliding off the plate.

I realllly wanted to hate this place after having many bad experiences at similarly priced places, but I just couldn’t! Staying at this Tru hotel was a treat, honestly! The whole building was spotless, the vibe was excellent with a fun color scheme and welcoming lobby, and the complimentary breakfast was great! Two of the things that usually bother me the most about hotel rooms are curtains that don’t actually block anything out and noisy AC units - I was amazed to find out this place had neither. I actually slept so well! Even better than I would have in my bed at home! Before I settled on this place, I read reviews for every other hotel in the area. Every one was either rated so low that I didn’t bother, or there were multiple reviews mentioning a certain nasty little critter that likes to infest beds… I’m not even going to type out its name here because this hotel does NOT have that problem and I don’t want them to have any association with it. If this is one of the first reviews you’re reading at the start of a long hotel selection process, let me save you some time: this hotel is the ONLY option, and you will not be disappointed!! I hope you have a great stay.

Silver Member, have stayed at numerous Tru's and other Hiltons and have loved them. Made a last minute reservation at 10pm and in the morning plans changed so I called directly to cancel at 10am. Notified me that I can not cancel and the GM said the process was automatic and there was nothing they could do. I would have needed to cancel by 11pm (1 hr after I made the reservation to get it cancelled). Have run into this in the past and the hotel has worked with me. Disappointing to just have a hotel take $125 from you when you clearly know that there were options. This review could have gone the other way praising them.

This place offers quite a few amenities for the price. They also have a 24-hour gym. The only downside was that the mattresses aren’t as comfortable as I would like. I also needed my ear plugs, which I usually bring anyways but the walls are kind of thin so noise does get through easily. Overall, it was a nice stay 👍

They actually have beds and pillows! The last 4 hotels we were at made you sleep on a rock slab and Lay's potato chip bags (full of air, not chips 😂). Rooms are superior to other hotels and at 40% other hotels as well! Amenities (snacks, foods, gym, pool) seemed to be better than most places too. The downside is we got a room on the interstate side of the hotel. The wife was asleep before the lights were turned off, but I heard truck traffic most of the night. The dimly lit property should be brightened, but not a deal breaker at all.
