We picked this Hotel because of the indoor pool. We reserved the room in October. We got to the hotel, and checked in. We got to our room, and unloaded our stuff. We then decided to go check out the pool. There was a sign on the door that said "Pool closed for maintenance". We asked the desk clerk how long it would be down, and she said it had been down for maintenance for as long as she's worked there. We asked for a refund because we booked that hotel because of the pool, and we would just go somewhere else. The manager claimed that it couldn't be refunded because it was paid for in advance and because the pool was working when we booked the appointment. It doesn't matter if the pool was working when we booked the room, if we are unable to use the service then we are not getting what we paid for. The customer service that we received was unacceptable. If something isn't working, then it is your responsibility to inform your customers so that they can make the decision on whether to continue the service with you or not. And to refuse to refund the money that we paid for a false advertisement. Avoid this hotel. They will rip you off

Hampton Inn Dayton/Huber Heights is everything you'd want in coming to a Hilton property. Sam is one of the best GMs in the country. She always goes above and beyond. So genuine, and her leadership is passed down to her wonderful staff. Truly appreciate this hotel

This is a perfectly fine place to stay as are most Hilton properties that I often stay in. Clean, decent rooms with a friendly staff. However, they have bizarrely, insanely bright lights in their parking lot. I mean, daylight level brightness all night aimed directly at the room you might stay in. The lights in the parking lot would be bright enough for most major sporting venues. The photo I’ve attached was taken in the middle of night with the shades drawn all the way closed. Very distracting when trying to sleep. It’s just weird that someone felt compelled to pay for and install this level of illumination.

The air condition had a code on it that said it needed service so the room wouldn't get below 71. The switches to control the window blind was broken so that didn't work. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and lock. Wall art was broken and had giant crack going down the wall. And when I told the person at the counter about it, they told me they had no other rooms available. And if management would like to contact me, I have photos and video of everything. By far one of my worst hotel stays

After driving in from Maryland, through the mountains in the rain most of the day, this hotel was a welcome respite. The weather had cleared by the time we reached Ohio, and when I entered the lobby, I immediately knew why: Samantha (Sam). There is no way the rainy weather we had driven through could compete with her megawatt smile and her cheerful disposition. My brief interaction with her during check-in really served to lift my spirits. As for the hotel, it's right off the interstate, convenient to food and shopping. There is a Five Guys right across the street! All of the staff were incredibly friendly. As usual for Hampton Inns, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the breakfast was exactly what you expect.
