We then decided to go check out the pool. There was a sign on the door that said "Pool closed for maintenance". We asked the desk clerk how long it would be down, and she said it had been down for maintenance for as long as she's worked there. We asked for a refund because we booked that hotel because of the pool, and we would just go somewhere else. The manager claimed that it couldn't be refunded because it was paid for in advance and because the pool was working when we booked the appointment. It doesn't matter if the pool was working when we booked the room, if we are unable to use the service then we are not getting what we paid for. The customer service that we received was unacceptable. If something isn't working, then it is your responsibility to inform your customers so that they can make the decision on whether to continue the service with you or not. And to refuse to refund the money that we paid for a false advertisement. Avoid this hotel. They will rip you off
