This property needs some TLC. Our room had numerous issues - subpar bedding (a mattress pad was our comforter underneath the cover) that did not fit the bed well, leaking faucets, fan in one bedroom not functional, mildew on shower curtain, both bathtubs looked like they were dirty or had unfixable buildup, holes in the walls that weren’t patched up. They had just cleaned the carpets, which was nice. The a/c fan was making a terrible vibration/noise and they did come up promptly to address. However the rest of the system was still pretty loud and we turned it off at night. With the fan not functional in the bedroom, it was quite warm. Overall, the property looked run down, scrapes on the hallway walls, BBQ’s not well seated with gaps on their foundations, even the entrance sign was slightly tilted. We ended up checking out a day early to head to another property out of town to accommodate a last minute change in plans. The person that checked us out looked like she could have cared less that we were leaving early and didn’t even ask how our stay was. James is the shining light at this property. He was friendly and welcoming and promptly sent maintenance when we had issues with the a/c.

This hotel was very dirty and outdated. There were numerous bug carcasses and a whole cookie behind the bed. Disgusting. I found what looked like a bedbug shell on the mattress. There was a lot of mold in the tub. I tried to switch rooms but no others were available, and the front desk attendant did not know what bedbugs were which is concerning for a hotel employee. This was in August, and the whole hotel was so hot that I didn't want to work out in the gym. If you are squeamish about bugs and want a clean room, I would encourage you to stay elsewhere.

Stayed here recently for a wedding. Met James at the front desk, who helped me check-in, and gave me a great recommendation for a nearby spot where I could kill some time on Friday. Right off the highway so good options for food and stuff, just not super walkable.

When we booked this hotel, we spoke with the gal named Cassandra. We have stayed here many times in the past and have never had a problem with the room that we have selected. When we checked in, we talked to a gentleman named James at the front desk. We requested a top floor, which was not granted to us. When we booked this room, we asked for a living room set up with the master instead and we were placed in a room that had two beds, one in the master and one in the living room. They could not change rooms and either upgrade or downgrade us to a different room. We will never stay here again because of the fact that when you request something during a reservation, Cassandra should’ve explained each room choice and which one would suit our needs. Think twice before you book this hotel!!!!

This hotel seriously creeped me out. When I checked in yesterday, they did not even ask for my ID. I can confirm they did not record any form of identification — no ID, no driver’s license, nothing. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s illegal. Hotels are required by law to verify the identity of their guests, and this one didn’t bother at all. And I’m shocked any hotel thinks this is okay. They gave me a ground-floor room right next to an exit. Before I even opened the door, I asked to switch to a different room because I didn’t feel safe. The front desk refused, saying they “didn’t have many rooms left.” Later, when I asked again — and it was the same staff member — they admitted there were still rooms available, but now said they couldn’t switch me because I had already opened the door. Which I understand — but the point is, when I asked to switch earlier, before entering the room, they still said no, and the reason they gave was “not many rooms,” not “no rooms.” That’s incredibly misleading. I didn’t feel safe at all. Even though I paid for two nights, I actually left after the first night and didn’t sleep there. I checked out the next morning before 10am and asked to cancel the second night — they refused again. Overall, this was a terrible experience. No ID check (which is illegal), contradictory information from the staff, and a room location that made me feel unsafe. I will not be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And just to be clear — the name on this Google Review is not my legal name. I fully expect this hotel to search for review names and claim that I never stayed here. But I have my full reservation details, and I was absolutely a registered guest. What’s more, I can confirm once again: the hotel never collected any ID from me — yet still allowed me to check in. That speaks for itself.
