Centrally located. Very convenient to the convention center and lots of businesses. Room was very, very clean. Lots of amenities like swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, and a bank of computers. Several restaurants on premises. Only drawback is parking $43 for In-N-Out privileges with the garage. But all the hotels seemed to charge for parking in this area not just the Hilton.

Out of all the hiltons, I have been to... This one is absolutely the worst. It starts off with valet, refusing to park my truck. They had no qualified drivers that could park a truck, claiming it was too big. They said they would only park 1/2 tons. My 3/4 ton is literally 1" taller and 4" longer. I was recovering from an accident, and walking was not a great thing for me.. Especially going up and down steps. On top of all, even though I had to self park, they wouldn't even let me park in the valet parking close to the door. You would think the management would have enough common sense that if they could hire qualified drivers, the least they could do is let you park your vehicle close to the door. I was forced to carry my luggage and walk for alteast 10 mins with 3 flights of stairs to even get into the building. The hotel itself was nice. I checked in and received a card on my phone, so I didn't have to deal with going to the front desk. I was in a junior suite and I did like my room. I was there for multiple day stay, use the coffee in the room on the first night and never had coffee replaced the rest of the trip. Called and ordered breakfast to be sent to the room on the second day ( mostly to get coffee) and after an 1 1/2 hrs... I gave up and left. I ended up ubering everywhere.I went on the trip because it was too far to walk to my vehicle. Maybe things like this should be disclosed on the hilton app.... I would have never booked this room if I knew you had incompetent valet service. Maybe this is just because i'm only silver... Wonder if I move up, I'll get treated any better.

My Husband and I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Columbus Downtown. From inquiry to booking, check-in, and check-out, everything was seamless. The staff were friendly, helpful, professional, and truly made us feel valued. Special thanks to Melisa Thomas, who patiently answered all our questions and went above and beyond to make our wedding even more special by surprising us with a thoughtful gift, which meant so much to us. Because of this exceptional experience, my family and I are proud Hilton loyal Customers and will definitely be returning.

The Hilton Columbus Downtown has found a way to keep the riff raff who might want to see how the other half lives for a night away from the hoi poloi. There are 2 towers and one has a lavishly decorated lobby with elegant furniture and huge desk, and the other has a small lobby with some small furniture and a small desk. And the room...was nothing special. Because we were on the low-class side of the Hilton. I had high expectations for this hotel stay. I have never stayed in a hotel purportedly this nice and my room was not anything that I haven't stayed in in any three star hotel. The sheets were scratchy, and so were the towels. The room was tiny, not even a table and chairs for a double room with two queen beds. At least the complimentary Crabtree and Evelyn hygiene products were nice. Good shower, I suppose. Even the frother at the coffee shop in our tower was broken. The staff was solicitous. Maybe teach them a phrase other than "my pleasure" because it rings really hollow when it is literally the only thing they are trained to say. The only thing that made this room worth the outrageous price we paid for it was the fact that the hotel is connected to the convention center. If you have the means to get a suite in the nice tower, I'm sure you'd have a different experience. But if you are a middle class person looking to treat yourself to a stay in a nice hotel.for a change, you are probably going to be disappointed. I was.
