I called ahead to make sure they had a deep freezer to freeze my ice packs for chemotherapy. The girl on the phone told me yes, they could put my bags in their deep freeze. When I showed up on November 4th, a male night clerk — long blond hair, rude attitude — flat-out told me there was no such thing as a deep freezer in the hotel. Total liar. He took my bags anyway and shoved them somewhere useless, because when I picked them up in the morning, they were completely melted. I had chemo that day, and thanks to his laziness and lies, I had no ice. I was extremely upset and spoke with the manager the next day. She told me they actually do have a deep freezer. When I explained how important this was and that I had another future reservation, she showed no concern whatsoever and said she couldn’t assure me it wouldn’t happen again. This place has zero integrity, zero empathy, and zero accountability. I cancelled my upcoming stay immediately and will never stay here again. The lack of honesty, communication, and empathy is appalling — especially when dealing with guests going through medical treatment. Chemo patients: choose another hotel that actually cares.
