We came to Columbus for a high school bowling match and stayed one night at this hotel. The room was decently large and clean however, the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. When we woke up early Saturday morning to head to the match, 3 of our vehicles had had windows smashed out and ransacked. We do travel often and understand there are normally signs saying something about parking at your own risk or something similar to that. However, this location had a hired security guard on site all night. The vehicles were all parked right in front of the main entrance to the hotel. The GM has not responded to any emails or phone calls in 6 days. We had to drive back home with plastic over the window in the freezing cold. Mind you, I drive a 2026 GMC Acadia and the glass places do not even carry the glass to repair it so I have been without my vehicle fully functioning for 6 days. To top it off, the morning front desk agent that had come in at 6am told the 3 families with the damage that the guard was probably “sleeping”. And don’t count on Columbus PD to be helpful or timely to your situations as we waited 1.5 hours for them and was late to our senior sons bowling match.

We arrived at 3:25pm to check in. The check in was supposed to be 3 pm, but we had to wait in lobby for ~20min because no rooms were ready. The pool was out of commission, so we definitely couldn’t go there to pass the time. We were told they couldn’t get any of our groups rooms on the same floor, but then another couple we were with literally reserved room at the last minute, separately from us, and did get a room on our floor, so they apparently lied to us. We got back to the hotel at 1am after a birthday celebration and the room thermostat said it was 65, but it seemed much cooler and I keep my home temp on 68. We shut off the thermostat and restarted and got some heat until exactly 3:16am when I was awoken by the sound of a lawnmower in my room. It was the furnace! Due to my complete fatigue and exhaustion all I could do is laugh until my stomach hurt due to this ridiculous situation. I decided to cover my head with a pillow and get about 4 hours of sleep before I managed to crawl out of the covers into the frigid room temperatures to go have a basic breakfast and leave. I reported the furnace issue to the front desk with no attempt to rectify the situation. Don’t waste your time or money on this hotel!

Plane grounded by weather and arrived a day later. No credit for the missed night. Will not stay here again.
