Hotel staff is super nice, my room was horrible. Door looks like someone broke in, phone is missing most of buttons, fire alarm is ripped off the wall and shower wall is cracked in several spots. Would love to be able to post the pics on here.

Location for what we needed was nice, don’t desk guy was nice. Room smelled awful, first room they gave us the toilet was torn apart for repair so we requested another room. Second room was smelly and the most of the lights didn’t work. We requested to get our money back and stayed elsewhere. At least the front desk guy was nice and helpful

Rancid smell in the elevator and also smelled like mold in my room. I could tell they attempted to cover up the mold smell with a strong perfume that a sheik from Dubai would wear. I don’t expect much except a clean shower and bed. Every single towel had multiple spots , no shower soap and no hand soap, lotion or facial tissue. Bed was not the cleanest so I slept in my clothes. At least the front desk had a new soap to give me so that’s a plus.
I guess the owners are trying to cut costs but this place should not have the Hilton name on it.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Columbus–I-70 E/Hamilton Rd, and overall, my experience was okay. The night front desk agent was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was good with a very nice and attentive attendant. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C worked well.
However, I did run into some concerns. One of the bath towels had visible stains even though it was folded as if it were clean. Thankfully, another towel was fine, but this left me hesitant about the overall housekeeping standards. Additionally, an extra pillow and pillowcase were left on the bathroom counter, rather than being correctly placed in the room, which felt odd and unsanitary.
While the staff service was positive, the hotel itself is showing its age. The hallway carpets were stained, and the walls could use fresh paint. These details, combined with the towel issue, unfortunately left me hesitant to book another stay at a Hampton Inn.
That said, the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful, and I appreciated their service. With better attention to housekeeping details and some updates to the property, this hotel could offer a significantly improved guest experience.
