Checking in was a breeze! Staff was super friendly. One star because I left something behind and realized after traveling a good distance from the hotel. I KNEW EXACTLY WHERE I LEFT IT BEHIND in the room. I contacted housekeeping to report my item and they have never returned my calls. Front desk was unable to assist and kept transferring me to housekeeping. Sad to know if you accidentally leave something behind that housekeeping will steal it. I even left a tip for housekeeping. Won’t be returning to this location.

They need to hire someone to watch the cars at night because several cars were broken into.

Rooms were fine. The remodeling job was shoddy where corners weren’t finished and it looked sloppily renovated. While we were there, 2 or 3 cars were broken into on Friday night and at least 1 car the next night, Saturday. Wish they would have police on campus. I can understand why this location is so much cheaper than the other Embassy Suites in Columbus now. My particular room was next to a couple that had very loud sex—I could hear the skin to skin pounding followed by moans. The ladies making the omelets were kind of rude. I ordered 3 omelets— two for my parents who didn’t speak English well and one for myself and they told me two only unless all guests were standing right there where they could see them. I went to buy some water and wanted to pay cash but the lady at the front told me she had maybe put the cash away or just counted it—I couldn’t hear her well—the lobby was very noisy—so definitely NOT customer focused or friendly. Won’t be back. If you can swing the extra $20-40/night at another embassy suite location, I’d recommend it.

Breakfast was great, room was nice and spacious, staff friendly. However, in my opinion, they have a serious car break in problem that s not being handled adequately. it appears 7 break-ins last night, allegedly 13 on Tuesday night. "Security" on site did not secure. When traveling in the future, I will pack some window plastic and tape. Good Luck!! *they didn't charge for parking, lol

The hotels and rooms are beautiful. They have a wonderful bar/dining area, the rooms make me feel like I'm in a mini apartment--I love it all. Two things that bothered me, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars: 1. There are no trash bags in the trashcans in the room, which is poor foresight on their part because now the cleaners will have to use their hands to get trash out which is gross. 2. I paid nearly $6 for a parking space. Now tell me why Embassy Suites is just only now putting cameras in the parking lot--and they're only doing it because cars full of hooligans have been coming into the parking lot and breaking into cars. My friend's car was a victim of them last night. They hit a few cars actually. Apparently, this has been going on long enough that the police have a task force focused on catching these kids. Boo to Embassy Suites for only just starting to get a camera system in--it should have been done a long time ago! The place is beautiful, but I would avoid this place until they have the cameras up or the police have caught all the kids.
