    This is the best hotel. The staff gets a five start rate from the time you check in through checkout . It's super clean ..spotless, good location near the airport This is my second stay for airport day arrival or departure to stay Close to restaurants or gas station . They have shuttle service for flights from 7a.m. on. Beds are so comfortable.

    If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The issues started when I called a day before to see how to go about getting the airport shuttle. I was told that they “probably definitely couldn’t help me” because they need 24 hours notice (I called around 7:45pm and was scheduled to arrive at 2:00pm the next afternoon). I would have been fine with this but the woman took my name and number and said someone would call me at 11:00 with more information on the shuttle. Needless to say this never happened so we made other arrangements for transportation. Upon arrival, we were about an hour and a half early to check in. We were told we could get early check in for an additional $50 to which we said we would just wait. We were then told we could check in early for $20 and if we left a review which again we declined and said we’d just wait. Finally it turned into we could check in early with no additional cost but had to agree to leave a review (so here you go). Mind you - there were absolutely no other guests around and the hotel was basically empty so there was absolutely nothing preventing them from allowing us to check in early other than the fact they wanted to try to swindle more money out of us. In additional to this awkward exchange, the woman at check in was rude and just seemed to want to cause issues in any way she could. Arguing about what card we used for payment and giving us a hard time about arriving early and not using the airport shuttle that they never confirmed with me. We were also given a “goodie” bag at check in which was a freaking joke - 1 bottle of water and a bag of chips for 2 people. When we got to our room, maintenance people had their equipment thrown all over the place in the hallways and it reeked of paint fumes. The room itself is mediocre at best - flat pillows, thin towels (you only get 2), and a smoke detector that strobes a bright blue light throughout the room when you’re trying to sleep. As if all of this wasn’t annoying enough - we just received a call from the front desk at 1:00AM. When I asked why they were calling at 1AM I was told they “wanted to make sure the room was ok.” There is absolutely NO reason to call guests at that hour. I travel relatively frequently and have never experienced such horrible behavior/customer service all around from hotel staff. Working in the hospitality industry myself - please do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment.

    First time traveling with our new baby. Coming into Columbus for the Ohio State Football Experience but our time and excitement was cut short by a COCKROACH infested room. Broken lights, blood on bathroom wall and a non-working exhaust fan. Very unsanitary for anyone, especially children. Took 5 days to hear back about my refund and refused to issue my money back. Will never lodge with best western again.

    This place is conviene for my transit back and forth to work when I am in the city. The employees are honest and polite people. The care that Tia given personally from Lucky is of exuberant quality. She indeed knows how to situate customers whether disgruntled or happy. She’s an amazing person to show face for the company
