This is a very late review, but I stayed here for Labor Day weekend in 2025. Everything about my experience was so lovely. I traveled here solo with my dog. The staff is very kind. Especially David E. He immediately made friendly conversation with me upon checking in, and was giving helpful tips about the hotel and the area. The hotel is very conveniently located in the same plaza as Walmart and restaurants, so you don't really need to go far for things you might need or have forgotten to pack. I would definitely stay here again!

I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa & Olivia - the incredible women who saved my dress for my sister in law’s wedding! My zipper broke and they not only sewed me into the dress, they also drove me to the wedding 20 minutes away! Beyond excellent customer service. Thank you so much ladies!

Our stay was not a good experience, the sheets and bedding had a very bad smell and appearance, the hygiene in the room was very poor, terrible service, they don't provide water, what you pay is not worth the extra price for such poor quality of service and dirty.

My husband and I travel to New York several times a year to visit our children and grandchildren. As loyal Hilton Honors members, we exclusively stay at Hilton properties because of the brand’s reputation for consistency, professionalism, and genuine care for its guests.
This was our first time staying at this particular location, as we usually visit the Stony Brook or Ronkonkoma properties. I had a few questions before our stay, and my first point of contact happened to be the General Manager, Olivia. From that very first interaction, the level of hospitality she displayed—and inspired in her team—was truly exceptional.
Olivia is the definition of hospitality. She personally came out of her office to greet me, warmly welcomed guests checking in, and even high-fived my three-year-old grandson when my daughter surprised us in the lobby. It was heartwarming to witness. She clearly leads by example. There’s a quote that says, “Leadership is not a position or a title; it is action and example.” Olivia truly embodies that sentiment, and it shows in the way her entire team interacts with guests.
Beyond the hospitality, everything about the hotel was impeccable—the furnishings and beds were extremely comfortable, the entire property (inside and out) was spotless, and the breakfast spread was far beyond what we expected. It’s rare to find this level of quality included in your stay. As a note there is a Walmart, restaurant, Starbucks, bagel store and other store fronts within the complex that this Home 2 Suites is located.
We’ve decided this will now be our new home away from home whenever we travel to New York. If you’re visiting the area and looking for a hotel that exceeds expectations, this is the place. You won’t be disappointed—and if you do stay, tell them the Kearneys said hi!
