My favorite place on Earth is 'The King's Garden' at Fort Ti, down by the water
Up in the Fort proper, they have the greatest exhibit of swords I've ever seen. I'm a fencing coach so I know swords
The fort, situated between two lakes has a commanding view of the lakes. To walk down to the garden takes a moment but not terribly far
I always enjoy my visits to Fort Ticonderoga. Especially for the Spring Fencing tournament in the apple orchard
