I'm a fencing coach so I know swords The fort, situated between two lakes has a commanding view of the lakes. To walk down to the garden takes a moment but not terribly far I always enjoy my visits to Fort Ticonderoga. Especially for the Spring Fencing tournament in the apple orchard
