The Hampton Inn & Suites Syracuse Dewitt hotel is nestled just off major Interstate 690, with easy access to Interstates 90 & 81, as well. Our hotel is centrally located to meet the needs of any traveler. We are just moments from the Downtown Business District as well as Syracuse University & Lemoyne College. We are just a short drive from Carousel Center Mall, NYS Fairgrounds, museums, and parks.
Our hotel is built on the very sight of the old Erie Canal, which was the main thoroughfare from Albany to Buffalo in the 1800's and early 1900's. This area of Syracuse is just a bustling today! Numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment for both adults & children are within walking distance of the hotel. The Syracuse area offers a lot of history as well. Take a trip to our Erie Canal Museum or Salt Museum and learn a little bit about Syracuse's past. If scenery is more your thing then visit our Onondaga Lake Park, Beaver Lake Nature Center, or Green Lakes State Park.

So we had to stress of gettting there under emergency circumstance or we would lose the whole $205.00 for the one night stay. I talked to a lady on phone (first shift on 12/6/25) regarding emergency circumstance. She was very abrupt and could of cared less. I explained we had emergency she abruptly said nope no more back and need 48 hr notice. I explained our circimstance and again nope 48 hr notice. So if you have emergency do not ezpect money back. We are not rich so very stressful circumstance we made it (barely). The second shift guy at front desk around 830 pm was extremely professional and nice.

The towels are very soft and our bathroom was impossibly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is fine and the dining area is great. They decorate for the seasons and we love it. Location is convenient to everything. We will definitely be back!

There not to be toenails around my bed or someone else’s hair anywhere in my bathroom and the floor not to be sticky. Am I asking too much?
