This was my second visit to the Skaneateles Field Resort & Spa, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. There’s a level of hospitality here that feels personal, everyone seems to take real pride in making your stay memorable. The dining experience, though, absolutely stole the show. Whatever they did to bring in their chef… they nailed it. She came out to greet each table and walked us through every dish, sharing stories about the locally sourced ingredients and the inspiration behind them. One standout was the octopus dish, perfectly prepared, unbelievably flavorful, and apparently made with a preparation method so secret the chef wouldn’t spill a single detail. I’m determined to figure it out, even if I’ll probably just botch the attempt at home. Still worth trying! My wife and I dine out internationally quite often, and it’s rare for a meal in the U.S. to genuinely wow us, but this one truly did. It was easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The property itself is filled with thoughtful touches. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the décor strikes that perfect balance of elevated and cozy, and the executive putting green is a blast, I even managed to sink a hole-in-one on one of their toughest holes! The pool was heated to perfection, which was a really nice contrast to the cold, crisp air. All in all, an unforgettable stay and a clear 5 stars. Skaneateles Field Resort continues to raise the bar, and we can’t wait to come back again.

From the moment we landed, this experience was pure magic. The hotel arranged our airport pickup, and Chris who greeted us with the biggest, most genuine smile immediately set the tone for the whole trip. You could just feel how happy he was to have us there. When we walked into the resort, it smelled fresh and new, and every single staff member in the lobby greeted us with the same joyful energy that Chris did. The entire property radiates luxury and warmth at the same time, somehow elevated and cozy all at once. One of my favorite moments was curling up by the fire pit in the lobby with my friends, chatting for hours. Staff would pop by occasionally just to check in, always kind and thoughtful, never intrusive. The coffee and pastries were next level. I’m still dreaming about their oat milk lattes with the fresh vanilla. I actually took mine to the outdoor hot tub one morning, and it was heaven. As a mom who was off duty for 24 hours, it was the perfect reset. But the best part? I can’t wait to come back with my husband and kids in a few weeks. They’re going to be obsessed. There’s even a game room with arcades, which sealed the deal for my return trip. Now, let’s talk about the food, the true star of the show. Every single dish was incredible, but the pancakes? Life changing. I don’t even normally order pancakes, but after this, I may never eat them anywhere else again. We also had the honor of meeting Chef Esperanza, and it all made sense once we did. Her talent is undeniable, but it’s her warmth and the love she pours into every plate that makes the food so special. You can truly taste the intention behind everything she creates. She also took so much pride in all the details that went into the entire hotel. Skaneateles Fields isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. Thoughtful service, breathtaking surroundings, and food that feeds both body and soul. I left feeling restored, grateful, and already counting the days until I’m back!

A Hidden Gem in the Finger Lakes - Rest, Reconnect, and Reimagine What a Ladies Getaway Can Feel Like!! The Fields of Skaneateles is an absolute dream. I brought a group of girlfriends (7 of us), and from the moment we arrived, it felt like we’d stumbled into a perfectly curated slice of peace. Every detail, from the design of the suites to the warmth of the staff, makes you feel like you belong there. The property is stunning and alive with experiences. We swam, soaked, played pickleball, biked the trails, sipped wine by the firepits, and laughed late into the night. Every amenity is thoughtfully included, and it never once felt crowded or commercial — just pure, easy luxury with heart. The on-site restaurant is exceptional!!! It was fresh, farm-to-table, and bursting with flavor. I’m still drooling for the handmade butternut squash pasta and the pancakes. You can tell Chef Esperanza and her team genuinely care about quality and community in every sense. The spa is 5-star, serene, elegant, and refreshingly unpretentious. The Fields isn’t just beautiful, it feels good. It’s where time slows down, connection deepens, and you leave already planning your return. My family’s next stay is already on the books. See you at Thanksgiving!!

Could not believe this gem of a location was here in the cutest town in NY! A quick weekend trip to the finger lakes with mom and sister and in seeking a location near the town and close to the finger lakes and found this brand new Hilton curio collection. Out first visit to this location was met with the most staff. High marks to Nic who greeted us with such customer service to go above and beyond with the level of service you only dream and desire in any hotel you visit. Nic was attentive to our questions and needs, knowledgeable of the location, and local eateries. The main waiting and sitting areas were warm, inviting, and nicely decorated with a fireplace in the center. The hallway of the rooms offered a novel self serve water area ( so fresh and delicious! Sparkling, ice cold, to room temp). This hotel offers exclusive amenities, cleanliness of the rooms, sheets, towels etc. could not say enough of the wonderful housekeeping and staff. The hotel itself being about a month old - very very quiet floors, new furniture. We don’t have a chance to eat in the restaurant ( it was crowded on Friday evening). The only negative which is the sign is difficult to see from the main road depending on which way you are heading. We will certainly be back!

All NEW - Idyllic Finger Lakes Family or Business Retreat - The Fields of Skaneateles is truly a special place — peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly at home. The grounds are stunning, and the vibe is cozy and relaxed in all the right ways. The staff is 5 star across the board! There’s so much to enjoy here: indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hot tubs, pickleball and bocce courts, a nine-hole putting green, walking trails, fire pits with s’mores, a fitness center, and even mountain bikes and snowshoes for exploring year-round. The best part? All of these amenities are included with the resort fee — an incredible value that makes your stay feel effortless. The on-property restaurant is farm-to-table with a true scratch kitchen, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared (I’ll share more in a separate review!). Be sure to visit the spa for a little relaxation, and if you’re planning a gathering, the offsite event space is perfect for larger groups. Keep an eye out for Scout, the resort’s mascot and resident fox — he’s part of the magic here. I can’t wait to come back with my family — we’ve already booked our next stay!
