Spent two nights, no hot water because boiler is off, that was so disappointing , because they said 30m and company will work on it and fix, if i knew it would take so long i would just leave to another place cause, my entire stay i was in the room working

I would say that this location while clean and with very friendly staff needs maintenance. Everywhere I went parts that should be sturdy is either loose or ready to fall off. Some examples I will put in here are that all of the safety bars in the bathroom feel like if I was to put any serious pressure on them they would fall right off. The fixtures for the faucet in the tub don't feel properly secured and we're moving when I tried to turn the water off and on. It's not just in the rooms, but even in the elevator parts of the bumpers that keep the walls from being damaged were falling off or loose. While we were staying, their water boiler failed leaving the entire hotel without hot water for showers for at least two days. I am not blaming the 3 stars on that though. If you need a clean space to stay overnight that has friendly staff near Rochester General, then this is a good place. If you might have to stay someplace for a number of days and will require things to be in working order long term, I would stay somewhere else.

I stayed at the Hampton for a weekend and had a really good experience overall. There was plenty of parking, rooms were spacious/clean, and the location was close to many places I needed to go. The continental breakfast was good, and the customer service was great. The only downside was having a little trouble with our room key (but it was fixed) and a strange smell in the room that was somewhat like sewage. We bought a spray, and that helped. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay at the Hampton Inn Rochester–Irondequoit. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. Check-in was smooth, friendly, and efficient — exactly what a traveler wants after a long day. The room was comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I slept better than I do at home! Everything from the linens to the bathroom amenities felt fresh and well maintained. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. What truly sets this hotel apart is the team. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and attentive. Their hospitality turned a simple stay into a memorable experience.

The room was large and nice looking. The front desk staff friendly and helpful. The a/c & heater is not sealed, cold air comes through, traveled over Thanksgiving, and has a very cold draft. The shampoo, body soap, lotion was all empty. The lady who works the kitchen breakfasts was very friendly and helpful. So improve the supplies in the room and the heater, and next time I visit my family, I'll change the 1 star. Simple stuff to fix.
