I had no idea our stay at the DoubleTree Hotel Niagara Falls would turn out so GREAT! 1st the hotel is located within walking distance to numerous tourist attractions! 2nd the cost of our room there was so reasonable for staying at a DoubleTree Hotel! 3rd Service by every employee we came in contact with was “top shelf” friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. 4th their DoubleTree restaurant/lounge had great food and great live entertainment. Very unexpected! 5th Our room was clean and each day freshened up nicely. 6th and who is going to turn down their warm complimentary chocolate chip cookies each day. 7th we forgot on this particular stay we earned extra hotel points. We have nothing but great memories from our stay here.
- JRJin Sung RaOct 13, 20254.0The hotel allowed us to check in even when arriving late. Since flights sometimes land late, it helps that if you call in advance, they’re willing to assist. That said, the call goes through an automated system first, and then a staff member attends to your request. At check-in, they did not inform us of essential details like where meals are served or meal times. The room was excellent. However, one of the curtains was broken. I reported it to the front desk, and someone came upstairs to fix it. They couldn’t repair it at that moment, but said they’d fix it the next day. By the next evening, it was fully repaired. Breakfast at the hotel seemed much better served à la carte than as a buffet. I would recommend ordering off the menu. The cost was reasonable and the portions were sufficient. The hotel’s location is very convenient in relation to the waterfall. After finishing a meal, it’s at a walkable distance — an efficient spot. If you bring a vehicle, there’s a fee per night for parking. When I visited, the lot was quite crowded, maybe because the hotel was very busy. The shower felt almost like a hot spring. Of all the waters I’ve experienced traveling the world, it was perhaps the nicest for my skin.
