Beautifully decorated and excellent use of the space. We had a walkout balcony and the view were amazing! Staff were excellent, and everything was very clean.

The good: The location. Rooms are clean. Elevators are decent if maintenance and housekeeping aren’t using them. Staff is generally helpful, but our request for extra towels was ignored until we asked again later in the day. The not-so-good: The fitness center is NOT on site. The lobby is incredibly small, and the space that is accessible to guests is also used by housekeeping and maintenance as they move their carts and laundry around. Using the elevators can be tricky. Would we stay here again? Not unless it was a great bargain.

This will be my new go-to hotel in NYC. I stayed in the king room with balcony and it was AMAZING! Spacious and super comfortable. I spent a ton of time on the balcony, just enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Place was immaculate! From the hotel’s convenient location I walked to Bryant Park, Grand Central Station, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the UN, and shopping on 5th Ave. I could have walked to more, but I was in NYC on business and ran out of time. Bottom line: this hotel is in a great spot and super easy to get to a ton of sites! Looking forward to a return visit soon!

On arrival, one of the two elevators that they have was out of order. So we had to wait a while to get up to our room which was on the 15th floor. Later that night, go to take a shower and the water temp was either boiling hot or cold. Couldn’t get it to warm . Called front desk, attendant said she would send someone up. Twenty minutes passed , called again and was told that maintenance was stuck in the elevator . Would be another 10 mins before he could get to our room . It’s 9:30pm at this point. We explain to the attendant that we were ready to take a shower and call it a night. She proceeds to say what do we want her to do, she can’t fix the shower as if we asked her to come up and do so . Needless to say, maintenance never showed up that night and we fell asleep without a shower. Next morning, called down to front desk , explained to the morning attendant what happened the night before , she said she would send someone up right away . When maintenance got there , he said he would need to replace a part in the shower so we can go out for a while and come back. Mind you , we still haven’t had a shower. So he leaves. The front desk calls our room and tells us the same thing that the guy just told us . I told her that we needed a shower. She then offered us another room just to shower, and then return to our room when our shower got fixed . I asked her why couldn’t we just switch permanently into the room she was sending us just to shower in ? That’s when she asked if we wanted to switch rooms . I said yes , we were already inconvenienced enough. Switched rooms, ok great . Showered and went out for the day. That evening when we returned after being out and about all day , we were told the elevators were out of order and we had to take the stairs, to the 14th floor. I was done with this hotel .
