Had a great stay! Housekeeping did a great job taking care of the room and sending anything I requested up to my room. All the staff were super friendly and the restaurant highball had a good variety of breakfast and dinner options. The location is perfect, right there in times square. We were able to walk to most of our destinations. I was also celebrating my anniversary and the team made sure to make it special for us. Also shoutout to Jameel, he was really great and helpful during the overnight. He made sure to answer any questions I had and even pointed me in the right direction where I could buy snacks after the restaurant closed.

Unfortunately, our experience at Tempo Hotel did not start off well. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was disappointing the receptionist his name is “Spenser” was unwelcoming and came across as looking down on us, with an unfriendly attitude. When we entered the room, the view was not what we were expecting, and the bathroom floor was not clean, which was especially concerning. In addition, the Indian lady working in the restaurant appeared very unhappy and did not smile at all, which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable, as if she did not enjoy her job. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations.

I am a lifetime diamond member so I have stayed in a lot of Hilton properties (probably 125 nights or so per year). The people who work the desk are amazing, and the rooms are fine, but the property is by far the worst I have ever stayed in. The check-in is bad enough to ruin a trip. Arrived to hotel after the check-in time and waited in line for 30 minutes. Was told that the room wasnt ready but would be in less than an hour. No problem, went to dinner and came back. Again had to wait in line for 30 min and again the room wasn’t ready. No guarantee re when it would be ready. Again the front desk was great - did all they could and eventually got us in, but United got me to New York faster than Hilton was able to check me into the room. Lots of places to stay in NY - would recommend picking somewhere else.

What a great hotel in the heart of Times Square! It literally looks over the far end of Times Square for a phenomenal view (picture attached). The rooms are a bit small but honestly quite sizable for New York standards. The soundproofing and the blackout curtains really block out the hustle and bustle and the bed is extremely comfortable. We got great nights sleep. The room is clean and the shower is large with good water pressure. They cleaned the room and gave us fresh towels every day. They also have wireless magnet chargers in the rooms which were great in a pinch since I forgot my phone charger. The cafe downstairs has good breakfast options and you can use your daily resort fee as a credit towards food there. The tv in the rooms are also massive and have all the streaming apps which you can sign into if you have an account so we were able to watch our shows in bed at night. Will absolutely be staying here again!

I’ve stayed at this hotel four or five times, but after this last trip, I think I’m going to get rid of my Hilton AMEX Aspire card (and I put about 150K on that card yearly), and switch to Hyatt. The staff I’ll get five stars. The rooms are small, but it’s New York City So it is understandable. The issue is with their valet parking policy, which has changed since I began staying there years ago. You have to request the car 90 minutes in advance. No problem. The issue arises when (1) As other reviewer said, no one picks up the phone at the front desk, so I had to wake my daughter up from her morning nap In order to go to the front desk in person to give 90 minutes notice. (2) Once your car arrives, you need to be at your car within two minutes. We stayed on the 44th floor. It is simply not possible to get down to the car in two minutes. — I had to wait over two hours in the downstairs foyer of the hotel, waiting for my car to arrive while holding my infant in below freezing temperature. This is just absolutely awful, unacceptable valet policy created by someone in management that is out of touch with the consumer experience. I expected more from Hilton. This hotel could develop a more consumer, friendly, valet experience, but it is clear they’ve developed a policy that is convenient for them, not the consumer.
