Our stay at the Martinique New York was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location is unbeatable. It was very easy to get to and from JFK, and its central spot made it simple to reach other parts of the city. We also had a wonderful experience with Jose, who was incredibly hospitable and gave us some fantastic tips on things to do and see around the city.
However, there were several drawbacks to the stay. The room was quite small, which we expected for NYC, but the view was completely blocked by scaffolding. The service was also inconsistent; while Jose was great, many other staff members weren't very friendly.
In terms of amenities, the room felt lacking. There was no fridge at all, which was inconvenient. We also found it frustrating that water bottles weren't refilled daily and that we had to specifically request most basic toiletries rather than having them provided automatically. It’s a great spot for the location, but the room features and service could definitely be improved.

Perfect location. Room was small but big enough for a family of 4 people, including 2 kids. The breakfast is served in a restaurant next to the hotel check in desk. The menu options are very limited and not even close to the Curio level I experienced elsewhere: worst breakfast esperience I ever had worldwide at the Hilton hotels. I had a late check out at 2pm but my room card was disactivated at 10am and desk staff member didn’t give me a new card because I was without ID ( locked in the room) and asked for security to open me the door. Wierd service for a Hilton Hotel member with Status. I would only recommend this hotel for the location, nor for price or breakfast experiences

Got turned away at 6PM @ night after a long flight from Europe, why? Because of my tiny cat lol. Their "pet friendly" policy is essentially LOCK your pet in a crate even when your pet is in your room. This hotel is not pet friendly, they just masquerade as such to attract more clients. They also tried to charge me for a one night stay, even though my pet and I are not welcome and we did not stay here. Rebooked myself @ Hilton Garden Inn New York/Midtown Ave, cheers.

Hotel Martinique is an exceptional NYC stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and feel thoughtfully curated rather than generic. Every detail reflects quality and care.
The front desk team was outstanding—professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive from check-in to departure. Café service was equally excellent, with friendly staff and a smooth, pleasant morning experience.
This hotel delivers true value through service, comfort, and atmosphere. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a polished, well-run hotel in New York City.

Great location right next to subway lines. Room is tiny (expected for NY standard), room is clean has 2 windows facing the building next to it.
Mattress is horrible, old spring bed that sinks no matter where you sleep.
Wouldn’t definitely considered this as a 4-star, more like a 3-star.
Property is outdated but kept clean. Great lobby but just old old rooms that need some updates.
Came as a Hilton status member and was not offered and not given an upgrade.
Overall would not return as there are other better properties around /within the same location.
