There is some lovely artwork in the public areas which children may especially like. The rooms are on the small side but perfectly adequate. A lovely location with the OvalThe hotel and room were spotless and the staff are lovely.
- JDJosh DNov 16, 20251.0We BOOKED and RESERVED two King rooms and when we arrived to check in, the front desk agent put us in two double bed rooms. When I brought up the fact we paid more money to have the King rooms, the agent said there was no King rooms left and that they "upgraded" us at no extra charge to the double bed room which was a garbage excuse, we did not want that or agree to that at all. I tried to argue the point of a reservation but they wouldn't rectify the issue. If we could have found alternative accomodations we would have. This is unacceptable.

Bad area, horrible rooms the size of a closet, the thermostat on the wall doesn’t work and you have to use a noisy wall unit by the window. Horrible chemical room deodorizer smell. I’m mortified to stay here. Once I opened the window to get rid of it I realized why they used a deodorizer- food smell. I was on the 16th floor and the kitchen smells made it all the way to my room, there is bad airflow here. Thank god you could crack the window. This is not your standard Hilton garden inn. Terrible front desk. Maintenance doesn’t speak enough English to communicate effectively. They were nice but couldn’t help much. Avoid avoid avoid. Outrageously overpriced low end hotel. The only redeeming factor was the bathroom was updated. I do not recommend.

Auch die Geräusche aus dem Flur oder wenn die Nachbartür geöffnet wird, sind deutlich zu hören. Man hat teilweise das Gefühl, jemand würde direkt ins eigene Zimmer kommen – so hellhörig ist es. Die Betten sind leider unbequem, besonders für Personen mit Rückenproblemen. Meiner Meinung nach entspricht das Hotel nicht dem üblichen Hilton-Standard und ist für das, was es bietet, zu teuer. Ich war bereits in mehreren Hilton Hotels in Dubai, Katar und Istanbul, und dort war das Niveau in allen Bereichen deutlich besser – um ehrlich zu sein, um Welten besser. Dieses Hotel ist einfach in die Jahre gekommen und braucht dringend eine Renovierung. Insgesamt war ich leider enttäuscht, vor allem angesichts des hohen Preises.

It was a great location, walking distance to many popular sites, including Times Square, Broadway, and Central Park. The hotel rooms were clean, and spacious (especially compared to how some rooms can be in the city). *All* the hotel staff were friendly, even those we just walked by cleaning or performing maintenance. We were always greeted by every one of them and told to have a great day. They seemed genuine and were very hospitable. The staff at the front desk were also very accommodating. It was also nice (and very helpful!) that they let you leave your luggage after checkout, so you can finish your plans in the city before leaving. The security at the hotel seemed good as well. There is a doorman, and you need to have a room key to enter the hotel at night, or to use the elevator/select a floor. That helped us feel safe. We felt so welcomed. Would definitely stay here again.
