The General conditions of the lobby and bar area were acceptable but the room was not. I was taken back when we entered the room. I’m not a picky person but this room was trash. I called the desk and was told the hotel was booked ( which is was). So we had no choice but to stay where we were. Thankfully we had flip flops to shower in, disgusting! I highly recommend not booking here if cleanliness is important to you. The Hilton should be renovating and stop renting any room in the condition ours was in.

I arrived very late due to flight delays. The room was dirty and very outdated. My bed only had a mattress cover and no fitted sheet on it just a flat sheet over the mattress cover. The duvet has NO DUVET COVER ! It’s literally just two flat sheets wrapped around the duvet. There’s black mold INSIDE of the caulking around the sink. There’s mold on the walls there no exhaust fan in the shower room and the old vent for what I assume used to be the exhaust fan is FULL of disgusting black lint and mold and dust and god knows what else. My feet were sticky from the floors immediately after I showered. The “breakfast service” is 23$ per person. I mean as someone who grew up knowing the Hilton as a “luxury” hotel this is the biggest let down i could have expected.
I have a colleague staying here as well in the room directly next door to me and she also had to same complaints, dirty, outdated , and for some reason kinda stinky. Even the counter areas had some nasty stuff on them idek what is it ….
Arriving at 4 am after a long flight to such a disappointing room was a major let down.

This is a wonderful place for staying. I work in Melville, and stay for weeks sometimes and the service is great, I feel safe and the rooms are comfortable. The only complaint I have is the air/heat. It is difficult to adjust to a good temperature for me, as I am usually cold. I would highly recommend the Hilton Long Island/Hintington.

AVOID. This hotel has been a nightmare. Room 1 had no functioning climate control and a broken shower handle. Room 2 had a bullet-sized hole in a shattered window. Complaints were shot down by a lady at the front desk who had an attitude. Room 3 has a clogged shower drain that has been reported twice and still not been fixed. I’m about to go get my own plunger so I can just take care of it myself. The room doors slam very loudly. The walls are paper thin. This place is awful and not at all deserving of the Hilton brand name.

Rude front desk staff and manager. Not accommodating or understanding.
Had issue with government rates for work.
Rooms are outdated, no microwave in the rooms, long walks to rooms from elevators. If your room is close to the highway side you can hear trucks, loud cars and hear everything from your room.
Do not stay here if you have other options.
Heat isn’t working in the 1st room. Went down to the front desk and they said maintenance would be sent up. It’s been nearly 2 hours and nothing. Had to go down again and they sent someone while I stepped out. Bathroom is also extremely outdated and after I switched rooms since the original room had a terrible banging noise from the “fixed” heater, the bathroom had rust and holes in the wall.
I can say the night staff were much nicer than the afternoon staff and accommodated my request to switch rooms very quickly.
The doors are very heavy and loud so slam often especially in the morning as people leave.
The one perk is the beds were comfortable. But be weary as other reviews said there may be bugs. Mine luckily did not.
