I recently stated here for 5 nights for work and enjoyed my time here. I had an issue at check in but it got figured out rather quickly when I came back to my room every couple of days my bed was made as well as I had fresh towels. Another time they even did the dishes I didn’t put in the dishwasher yet. Plus it was quite and enjoyable I’m glad my job put me here while I was in the area for work

We stayed here for more than a month for work, and this hotel exceeded expectations. The breakfast selection was always fresh and varied, and the mid-week Wednesday dinner was something we always looked forward to. Manager Sarah went above and beyond to secure us a comfortable suite, and the entire team — Nick, Sonia, Denise, and Tess — were warm, helpful, and consistently professional. Thank you for making our long stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I think we arrived 10 years too late to this hotel. Although we are partial to Hilton properties and have found them to be wonderful places, this one was a disappointment. The lobby and breakfast and Wednesday social lounge (in a separate building), must have been recently renovated because the separate building which housed our room, which we had to walk outside to get to, (which probably gets old really fast during a Syracuse winter), was not as nice as the lobby building. First, there are several exits from the building which is good if there is an emergency, however thoughtless smokers who use the world as their ashtray, have strewn old cigarette butts all over the sidewalks and parking lot. Eww! I don’t recall seeing any designated smoking area but if there is one, I’m sure it is much worse. The hallway seemed to have a recent coat of paint but there were dark areas on the carpet. Then out of nowhere a large dog bounded down our hallway straight toward us. I just don’t understand this trend of allowing dogs to stay inside hotels. I own two dogs and I would never bring them anywhere if there was a chance they could damage something or annoy anyone. I started to wonder if our room had previously housed animals. Just like the smoking designated rooms of old, (thank goodness hotels got rid of that policy), they should have pet designated rooms, so the grown ups who have advanced self awareness skills and keep their pets where they belong, can sleep without inhaling pet dander, pet hair, or pet accident lingering fumes. Our room was dark and the decor and furniture looked like it was from the set of the show “Roseanne.” The bed was very spongy and uncomfortable. The bathroom had a newer looking shower insert but the corners and grout in the rest of the room needed some cleaning attention and the toilet was a very low seater. The design of the closet/bathroom right off the bedroom was also annoying. There is no door between the bed room and the area which contained the closet and sink. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night, there was no way to do it without waking your partner. And just to make sure they were really awake, you had to turn the bathroom light on outside its door which automatically fired up the bathroom fan which sounded like a jet engine it was so loud. The room has the standard kitchenette however the refrigerator unit was installed with the doors opening the wrong way! Such an easy fix so it told me no one is paying attention to details about this place. We often heard yelling in the hall each morning and it was always the cleaning staff seeming to be arguing. (They were probably arguing over who was going to have to clean the rooms with the pets in them). This hotel is set up like a wagon wheel of long separate buildings surrounding the central lobby hub. If you’re going to allow pets, keep them in one building.
