DoubleTree is well located in Jamestown, two blocks from the town's main draw ... The very cool National Comedy Center. Lucille Ball museum and various bars, restaurants and coffee shops also 1-2 blocks away. Parking is easy and free, coffee is provided and beds are comfortable. Staff were gracious and helpful. We were disappointed that the bar was not open while we were there (in our opinion if you say it's open till 10, it shouldn't be closed at 8:30). But overall it met our needs for this short weekend visit.

If you are looking for a hotel with poor service, hard beds, water that initially comes out brown from the taps, unwashed glasses next to the ice bucket and loud engine sounds all night then this is your place. Jamestown's irregular one-way streets make the hotel hard to get to. Parking was okay.

We stayed here for one night at the end of September for a weekend trip. We booked online through the Hilton app using points. We did I quite about adding a second night when we arrived but they were sold out. The room was clean. This was a double room and the night stand was between the two beds so if you are here as a couple and you both need an outlet near you to sleep, you probably are going to need both beds u less you bring an extension cord. The pillows were not comfortable for me. The room was spacious enough for one night. We ended up parking on the street in front of the hotel because there were no spots open in the flat lot. There is a parking garage next door. The front desk staff we interacted with at check in was professional. She gave us all the standard info. She talked fast and was very matter of fact about it. I would not have been surprised if she told us “drop and give me 20” - very drill sargent vibes. No cookie for us and I wasn’t going to ask. We got breakfast before we checked out in the morning. The food was ok. I had some from the buffet. They do offer freshly made omelets. The dining room staff were friendly and personable. The location is good. We walked around town and over to the comedy center and Lucy/Desi museum. Parking in the street is free on weekends.

We booked a room for Friday night and Saturday night. We chose this hotel because it had a bar and restaurant on site, as well as room service. The bar is to be open until 11:00 PM. We tried to order room service at 9:00 PM…it was done for the night. Tried to order online at the restaurant. Not able to place order, so we called the front desk. Restaurant closed at 9:00. Went to bar to grab a drink to do with the Door Dash that we ordered. Bar is also closed. EXTREMELY disappointing for a Hilton property. We will not be back.
