- DDDiane4 days ago1.0Right when we opened the door to the room, we were met with a musty smell. I went to open the window when I saw 10+ large stink bugs INSIDE the room. They were climbing on the window (again, on the inside) and the window curtains. Some of them were flying around the room. There were more in the bathroom, climbing on the faucet and also in the shower. The front desk attendant said that the bugs come through the vents for warmth and that there’s “nothing they can do about it”. While I understand that perhaps there’s nothing they can do immediately about the bugs, but perhaps something they can do is offer a refund or some kind of compensation. We ended up leaving after the bugs kept flying around and landing on us. Really disappointed in this stay and will not come back here again.

Large and about an inch long that smear once you kill them. Once you kill some, suddenly more appear. We complained and were told “ that is the way it is and they are in all the rooms” we didn’t get comped or moved. We do not recommend this place, we went during the winter and it also had thin walls and you can hear neighbors.

Pool water could have been warmer. Kids didn't mind, but too cold for grandma. Why are you getting rid of the duck emblem? Our grandkids know Homewood Suites as the ducky house to them it represents family fun.
