    Have not stayed here yet but have attended several events at this location and all the events and staff are amazing. Will update when we stay in one of the rooms, but I have no doubts it will be a great stay.

    Our room in this hotel was extraordinary. We had a lovely lake view and were upgraded to a king suite as Hilton Diamond members. The whole facility is beautiful. But the service and the restaurant were horrible! The guy who checked me in argued with me about benefits and knew less than I did about how the Hilton app functioned. So, I had to fight with him to get my points AND my food credits. The restaurant had one person waiting tables who might have been cooking and bartending, too. The food was below average quality and we had to ask for the beets for our beet salad as it came with none. There were two women at a table next to us who left after they waited 45 minutes and still didn’t have food (it should be noted there were eight customers in the whole restaurant). We returned the next evening (only because we had credits) and our waiter, who was also bartending, had to excuse himself to deliver room service. Seriously. We were the only customers in the restaurant at 6pm. That should tell you all you need to know.

    We for a long weekend to see the fall foliage. Got to the hotel and the service was great right from the start. Room was great, clean, spacious and the view of the lake was great. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good also.

    A Hilton lifetime Diamond members BAD EXPERIENCE at the Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Dates of stay: October 17 - 19, 2025. This property is situated nicely on Canandaigua Lake, however it was a major disappointment regarding many basic expectations of any hotel brand property, especially a Tapestry Collection property. The Basics. Our guest room lacked several basic furniture items including: bed side lamps, end tables near couch, a luggage rack, an ironing board, a desk, a dresser in the bedroom, an extra blanket and a microwave. There was just one overhead lamp in the living space. There was not a single shelf in the bathroom. Decor. The room decor that did exist was conflicting in style, placement and size. The best way to describe it - Haphazard with no forethought. The room is laid out in a way that doesn't make sense and there is so much empty space. It feels unfinished and/or like a incomplete renovation. Service. I mentioned a few of the mentioned basic shortcomings to the front desk staff and the response was a bewildered look and the statement “I’ll have engineering look into it.” Never heard a word back. Digital Key is only partly operational. Food: Inattentive restaurant service. It took 45 minutes to get a hamburger at an off-peak time. No complimentary decaf coffee was available at the tiny pantry coffee stand. The brunch menu does not state so but the breakfast sausage patties are chicken (and tasted awful). Cleanliness. We like pets but not their hair picked up from on our clothing placed on the couch. Summing it up… I have to imagine that Motel 6 and Super 8 are more traveler friendly. Note to Property Owners: Nice lake views and lovely public spaces don’t get you off the hook to provide the in-room basics. You have your work cut out for you.
