My only complaint is this shady resort fee!! Be very careful when you book through a third party like Airbnb, They charged me $35.00 resort fee from my $75 deposit upon checking in, when the resort fee is included in the overall price of the room when you book. They basically tried to charge me twice for the resort fee. I bet there are hundreds of people that don’t check and the trust the hotel. Very shady practice !! I will gonna to appeal this charge.

Fine hotel, way overpriced for the amenities and area. wouldn’t book again without a discount, there’s nicer spots for the same price and cheaper spots for the same experience. Very friendly staff however.

We originally booked an airbnb for our stay in Brooklyn but upon arriving it was not at all like the listing. We were scrambling to find a hotel that wasn't crazy expensive, still nice, and could last minute fit 4 people for 5 days. The Hilton Brooklyn hit all of that!! The hotel is very nice, clean, and an excellent location! The only VERY MINOR issue we had was the air conditioning in our room needed reset each day of our trip to continue blowing cold air, but it was super easy to request the fix and always done within 5 minutes. Every member of the staff from front desk to housekeeping to maintenance was incredibly kind and personable. Definitely recommend this hotel, they were a lifesaver for us!!!

I am a hilon honors member with gold standing. I usually choose this place when visiting Brooklyn. It is the closest to places I am visiting. The hotel looks really nice with a nautical historic decor and the rooms are decorating very nicely with marbled bathrooms and chrome accents. The art, wallpaper and furniture are also well designed with comfortable beds and linens.
My first stay in 2024 was nice and welcoming. My 2nd stay in 2025 was not as nice.
In particular, there lack of a warm smile upon checking in and addressing any of the staff at the front desk. The only person who seemed trained in the industry service was this nice young girl with long curly hair. The other staff at the front desk had no smile or didn't even seem to want to help with anything at all. The restaurant staff was very nice, and professional and helpful.
This hotel gives you a daily credit of $35 to compensate for a tax. It can be helpul when you want to eat breakfast or grab a snack in their pantry downstairs. But $35 pretty much covers a breakfast for one and a half person...maybe.
The main issue I had on my last trip was water. We had 3 people stayinging in the room and was provided only 2 waters at check in. If we asked for additional water, we had to buy it from their pantry and thus taken out of our $35 room credit each day. And they were out of water for over a 24 hour period, therefor I had to buy water a store outside of the hotel. But what really irriated my is that the hotel is nickle and diming its patrons for bottled water. Almost everytime I stay at Hilton, which is multiple times per year, water is always free and given without question. So this left a bad taste in my mouth. At $400+ per night I would expect more.
I don't think I will be returning to this particular location again.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service I received during my recent stay. The place was nice and cozy, and the rooms were well-maintained thanks to an excellent cleaning service.
I especially want to commend the housekeeper supervisor, who had red hair, for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind and helpful with all my requests, and I truly appreciate her efforts.
Thank you for everything.
