  Bare bones room, but extremely clean and functional. Perfect for a quick one night stay.

  Looks clean, but beds are never properly clean whenever I come. You can smell body order on the bed, and see residue from the previous stay. Cleaning people need t do better with properly changing the linens. Very lazy with the cleanliness, and the bed sheets is only the half of it. Do better, because it took for me being here for a 8th time to finally say something. Even when you ask to change rooms, the other ones aren’t any better. As a woman I shouldn’t have to lay in a bed that smells like sweaty old men.

  Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The 24 hour shuttle was a lifesaver with our delayed arrival back into Albany. Shuttle drivers were excellent and extremely kind!

  I’ve stayed at Tru hotels around the country including this one 4 years ago shortly after it first opened. From my experience, the condition and management of the property has deteriorated. Upon checking-in, my shower soap dispenser was completely empty and the shower door was missing a seal around the glass shower door causing water to puddle all over the floor. Housekeeping only came once in the sixth days of my visit. I requested housekeeping in person at the front desk on the fifth day, but they never came. The common areas included the gym appear worn down and dirty. One of the treadmills is “out of order” and the other one stopped working while I was there. I had to unplug it, and there were exposed wires and circuit boards on the machine (this looks like a potential electrical hazard). The scale in the gym had paint splatter over it. It appeared like they touched up some of the walls and didn’t bother to move the scale or cover the floors. I also noticed one of the cattle bells was missing from the free weights. Overall the hotel did not seem well kept. One of the elevators had dog crap that was left there all day. The outside of my shower door had mold and mildew. The hand sanitizer dispenser was not working in the gym. Some of the shelves looked very dirty. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel when it first opened about 4 years ago, but was very disappointed with my experience on my most recent visit.

  For a newer hotel...fhat sure did manage to make it a dump. Rooms were ok but all the common areas looked like they havnt vacuumed the carpets or mopped the floors in weeks. Breakfast was gross.
