Worst Hilton Garden stay ever and I’m a diamond, which means I stay at a lot of them every year!!
Upon check in, I was told no bar or restaurant open on the weekends. Be forewarned, no restaurants are within walking distance either.
If this is all that went sideways during the stay, I wouldn’t be posting this.
At 11 PM I notified the front desk that there was a party in the hallway, and to see when quiet hours began. Around midnight I feel asleep but was awoken at 3 AM to the continued noise.
So feel free to stay here if you want a sub par Hilton brand property with a bunch of people partying all night long.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn/SUNY in late October early November 2025 with my family. I downloaded the app in advance in order to speed things along including the check in. One thing I noticed about the app is with the chat feature no one ever responded to my request. I ended up having to call the hotel directly a few days later. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by the staff and received the keys to our rooms. Because I downloaded the app, I also had a digital key to use for the kid’s room. The hotel lobby is very spacious and has beautiful décor. We were able to use a cart to assist in taking our belongings upstairs. There’s lots of seating areas. We took the elevator up to our floor. Upon entering the room, I appreciated the heat being on as we were coming in from out the cold. The room was spacious however the lighting in the room was very dim. This was really odd as there are several lights in the room it’s just maybe the angle of the lights. We had connecting rooms with the kids. We wanted additional washcloths and contacted the front desk. Within a few minutes a representative brought them up to us. We were really disappointed as one of our beds had a visible strand of hair on top of it. Upon further inspection there were more strands of hair on the bed. We informed the front desk as we went out for the evening and when we returned the bedding was changed. The bathroom was also pretty small. Especially the tub/shower let’s just say it’s not large enough for two people. The beds were really comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant that serves food for an additional cost. Although I do believe some guests may get to use their points or just pay out of pocket. I did not visit the restaurant so I cannot give my opinion about it. There is also a convenience store We were also near a college campus and it wasn’t a issue at all. I almost forgot to mention parking is free. This was my first time staying at a Hilton location and it won’t be my last. I would definitely stay at this location again in the future.
