Place was decorated very nicely for Christmas. Ananda at the front desk was so nice, pleasant, and helpful--not only to us but everyone that stopped at the front desk. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was good variety. Parking was in back with access to the Lobby. Would stay there again.

The actual hotel was fine but you can hear everything and I mean everything. The parking and valet though, complete nightmare and completely unorganized. Before arriving, we called the hotel because we had two vehicles due to traveling in from different areas and wanted to make sure we could park both vehicles at the hotel. The front desk assured we can park both cars but it would be $20 per car per day. I'm used to paying for parking in massive cities like nyc or jersey but for albany this seemed a little much especially since there's cheaper paid parking lots around the hotel and free parking on the streets. But nonetheless for convenience, we decided to pay the money. When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in and they asked howany vehicles we were parking, we said 2 and she charged us 20$ for each car. We were told to drive around back, through the gate, and the valet would be there to take our cars. So at this point we called to ask about 2 cars for 1 room and we're told absolutely as long as you pay $20 per car, we were charged $40 for the two cars but when we got to the valet parking lot things took a turn. The man running the valet was yelling, swore at us, and told me 1 car per room and that I need to move along and go find somewhere else to park. I explained to him that we called ahead, was assured we could park both cars and was charged at the front desk already for parking for 2 cars. He said not my problem, those are the rules. So the rules are 1 car per room, a room and parking I paid for, and the front desk and manager aren't aware of these rules because if so why did they tell us we could park 2 cars and charge us for both when they knew we only had 1 room. I went back to the front desk and said why was I told I could bring 2 cars and charged for 2 parking passes and am being told by the valet we aren't allowed to park 2 cars and was met be a young girl looking like a deer in headlights. They offered no reasoning, just said sorry and that the can reimburse me for one of the parking passes. Asked to talk to a manger, she went to the back, and I could hear her talking to the manager but the manger did not even come out. Poor service, completely asinine parking, no one knows what's going on, rude, so please take my warning, save yourself the headache and the money, get there early and find a place on the side streets..its free to park on the streets on the weekends or find a 10$ lot close by..you'll be happy you did or actually just find another hotel!

Very unprofessional staff gave us a hard time about checking in and valet parking. Never in my life have I been exposed to such a poorly managed hotel system. Like do your jobs your getting paid and I’m paying for a room. Absolute embarrassment to the company.

Great walkable location in downtown Albany with friendly staff at the front desk and valet stand. Unfortunately, the rooms are dark and tired with tired furniture, noisy HVAC units, and threadbare towels. There are tiny smart TVs but no USB ports to be found. The parking situation isn't ideal, either - $20 for valet parking or take your chances on the street.
