Be advised that this Hampton Inn is not what they call a full-service Hampton inn. It is a franchise.. and because it's a franchise, they don't provide the usual amenities and brand perks that a regular Hampton Inn does. When I check into a Hilton hotel, I expect to be greeted as a diamond member and given my snacks and any other benefits. I also expect decent coffee. That doesn't happen here. The manager has decided not to put out the dark roast even though it's sitting in the pantry. He also won't allow the staff to put out hot cocoa if there's kids around. This makes no sense. The heating system in my room was an absolute disaster. The heat will not turn on unless I pumped the thermostat up to 74 and then it was too hot. If I turn it down to a reasonable 68, it was too cold and cold air was blowing out of the vents. I can't wait until the Home2 suites opens. With that said, however, I do want to say that the staff is incredibly friendly and they are as equally frustrated with the hotel's problems as the guests are.

I only ever leave reviews so people know what to look out for when they book a hotel - this place is clean, right off the highway and the people who checked us in were super nice
HOWEVER.
in the morning, I was awakened at 8:15 by a knock on the door by "housekeeping" they didn't wait for me to answer, they just opened the door. I said, "hello?" and they left the room.
I've reached out to the front desk and haven't heard anything from them.
we went down to breakfast an hour before they stop serving and there's almost nothing left.
(there are very few people staying here so I feel like they just didn't put anything out)
this wasn't a "cheap" hotel and one can expect certain things with Hilton hotels - idk what is going on over here
