The front desk worker explained that every room is the same temperature and that it couldn't be changed unless we turned the heat off completely. After requesting the issue be looked at, a friendly maintenance worker did indeed find a problem. Unfortunately, we woke up to a dirty moldy bathroom that we had not noticed when checking in.

The staff is helpful and friendly. I had a mishap as I forgot my work phone in the room upon checkout. Front desk called me but I was already on my way to catch a flight and could not turn back. They graciously offered to ship it to my home address (had to pay for it, of course, but it was my mistake in the first place). The rooms are spacious and very well kept. Comfortable beds, nice view of the docks. If you come to Halifax, this is the pace to stay!
