The hotel itself was nice. Good room, hot shower, good breakfast, and Wifi included. However, when I checked in I was double charged. I previously booked online and paid online before I even arrived. In fact almost a week in advance. Everything was taken care of. When I got there, the lady at the concierge asked me if I had checked in online to which I had responded yes. Then she looked dumbfounded as if she had no clue what I was talking about. Then she said oh I can't see any records of you paying online you have not previously paid and you need to pay now or something along those lines and sure enough she took my card and charged it. Now I thought that when she did this, she said it was for the security damage fee or something along those lines which kind of makes sense to me at the time. I found it a little odd that it wasn't automatically charged to the card that I had already put on file. I shouldn't have had my card charged at all when I arrived at the hotel because I had already paid and everything was taken care of in advance. When I confronted the employee about it and questioned why she was charging my card and advised her that I had already paid online previously, she was so confident that that wasn't true and that I hadn't paid at all and that I needed to pay still. She said "I still owe $189" which was total BS and I suspect she knew it or was severely mistaken. I didn't want to argue with her. I showed her my bank statement showing the charge of when I bought the room online showing as finalized and posted. I also showed her my confirmation email and number to which she dismissed the evidence I had paid already. When I brought up the concern, all she said was talk to my manager tomorrow morning because the manager had already left for the night. Well, I was in a rush the following morning and did not have a chance to talk to the manager because I had to get to an event early in the morning. So when I got back home after my trip, I called the hotel and a gentleman answered and I explained the situation to him. He immediately refunded the card and apologized because he said that I was indeed double-charged which I suspected the entire time. I'm not sure why that employee double charged me when I checked in and why she seemed so dismissive of my concern and confident that she was correct when she was completely wrong. I had already paid and therefore I should not have needed to pay at all. I'm not sure if it's lack of training, laziness, or a lack of care to attention. I do think that this issue should be corrected in the future because it set a bad first impression for me with Hilton hotels in general. I am glad that the employee I spoke to when I had called back immediately fixed the situation though and I did receive a refund for the double charge. The interesting thing is that nobody else in my group was double-charged. We all paid online in advance on the Hilton website and we all checked in at the same time. However, of the four people in my group, I was the only one that was double charged for some odd reason. Not sure what's going on here.

Stayed for work in the area. Nice and clean workout area for a hotel. 3 washers and 3 dryers. Kitchenette doesn't have a cooktop, so plan on eating out, microwaving, or eating fruits and salad. But for work, it's better than bunking up in a man camp.
