    Greeted by friendly, polite staff. Overall quiet establishment. My husband and I were able to rest in a comfortable room after a long day of traveling. Guest lavatory offered both a shower and tub option. Guest laundry made life easier. There is a fitness center as well.

    Standard room. Warm welcome. CREEPY LOCATION. I am actually surprised Hilton Corporation would locate here. (I’m from Toledo, OH, I’m not exactly a wimp.) When I tried to change a $20 bill upon checkout—so I could leave a tip at breakfast at—the guy at the desk was snarly. The parking lot is a mess (panhandlers, broken asphalt). The breakfast bar was scant, and so crowded with people we couldn’t sit, all of whom were loading up their day packs with food. Really bad, unsettling stay. Think twice before staying here.

    I made this reservation through the Honors reservation offshore, central reservations. Once I arrived at the hotel I was advised the hotel was being renovated . “There is no exercise room, laundry, pool, lobby restrooms or business center access and do not ask for a discount.” The central booking folks did not mention this. No hello thank you for being a Hilton honors member, would you like a water? This seems to be standard for leisure travelers now at most Hamptons. But, when I asked for a luggage cart, I was told there is only one working and you will have to wait for it to be returned. So I did. When I got to the room the bathtub had been sanded waiting for paint or glaze. In fairness the bed was comfortable and clean. The next morning when we went for breakfast, the fruit was spoiled and obviously been in the basket for a while (see photos). I told the desk clerk . The parking lot is a real danger. Especially the handicapped parking (picture). The renovation should have been done 10 years ago.
