    Tv never worked. They looked at it once and couldn't fix it. The beds are extremely uncomfortable,hard. I am a Gold member and they would charge me a 29.$ up charge to change rooms. Never in my years of travel have I been told that. Would highly recommend not staying here.

    The beds are horrendous lumpy and hard. The breakfast was nothing great. I won't stay there again. The staff was nice tho.

    I was in Carlsbad, New Mexico from San Antonio, Tx with my wife. We had made reservations through a third party at the Hampton Inn. Upon arrival at the hotel, the front desk informed me that the reservation was for the next day. By mistake, the third party had placed the wrong date. Upon calling the third party reservationist they told me they could cancel the reservation but couldn't refund my money for 10 days. Having little money for another hotel, I feared having to drive back to san antonio after a long day and being exhausted. I was out on a limb.. Cheslie and Melody went out of there way to make sure my wife and I had a room to sleep in for the night. I can't express my thanks enough for there kindness. This truly renews my belief that there are kind and caring people still in the world. These two wonderful people deserve to be recognized by my wife and myself and the company for being great employees and caring when they could have turned us away. I will always use the Hampton Inn from now on due to having employees like Cheslie and Melody. The room was great. Very clean and quiet and had a fresh smell unlike other hotels I've been to before. Very large and updated room as well.
