I almost hate to write this review because I don't want everyone to start staying at this property, but the Home2 at ABQ airport is really a great place to stay for that early morning flight, when you get in on a late flight or just anytime you need to stay on the South side of Albuquerque. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The rooms have always been very clean and nicely appointed with everything you'd need. The beds are comfy, the rooms are quiet and the breakfast is just what you need for a quick eat and go.
Overall, the other Hilton properties near the airport have gone way downhill and I frankly refuse to stay at any of them. However, the owners of the Home2 have maintained a high standard and regularly perform repairs as needed to keep the property nice. They were replacing/repairing tiles in the lobby the last time I stayed there as an example. When I've stayed at the HGI in the past (just around the corner) the same damaged walls/flooring and other problems were continuously there to greet me as I checked in.
Thanks to Total Management Systems for keeping this hotel such a nice option for staying near the airport.

I don't like this hotel. From the moment I walked in I could tell I wasn't going to have a good time here with my family, who stayed to visit. The room had a kitchen but the stove is mediocre. The microwave didn't work properly. We got a new room and when we tried to watch a movie that we purchased on the YouTube app the TV said it didn't support the video file format. What a waste! I can't believe my family paid over 1,200 dollars for 3 days and the breakfast came in a large vacuum sealed package. Everything they offered food wise tasted tacky. All of that money and can't hire anything more than chef boyardee? No thanks. Not worth the money for "style." The staff here look annoyed and dim witted.

I didn't receive the room I originally book. I came to check in at 3pm and was told I needed to wait a little longer to check in instead of telling me than my room wasn't available. The lady at the front desk that wore glasses was no help and didn't really care to help. I had to call the front desk phone to get her to come to the front desk after standing there for 15 mins. to check in.
Also they should cover up customer information if the morning front desk lady going to leave the desk unoccupied I could literally see customer names and who needed a credit card on file. But the lady in the evening was very helpful when I came back to check in and offered a discount because I didn't receive the room I originally book. But when it came to checkout the same morning front desk lady was there and my wife notice I didn't receive the discount so she ask about it and her reply was she didn't know anything about it. So my wife asked her you knew that we didn't receive and she replied yes she see we didn't so instead of calling her manager and asking about it. But overall it was a great hotel and clean and good breakfast. Besides the one morning front desk lady with glasses the rest of the staff was great.

Wasn't expecting to pay for parking ($8\night) and all the parking spots are quite small, but the rooms are spacious, well stocked, and I appreciate the kitchenette.
