Why 5 stars on particular aspects yet only 3 stars overall? A wifi situation inadvertently exposed the one flaw: despite numerous calls by Jennifer, NONE of the support numbers was able to help. All I wanted was to purchase one day of faster, better WiFi during a 3 day stay. No can do. The night clerk graciously offered use of the Conference Room and its WiFi router. Great recovery! Deus ex machina, but needless stress.

I booked a room for my son because he had a 5:15 am flight and they had a 4:00 am shuttle. I didn’t want to drive him from Santa Fe at that hour. The desk agent told me he just needed to reserve the shuttle when he checked in. When he checked in they told him there were no seats left on the shuttle so he spent $35 on an Uber. Given how close that hotel is to the airport, it’s hard to believe they couldn’t get him there. Other than that, the hotel was fine. I’d like to be able to use them again, but can’t count on the service they advertise

Great quick stay on mine and my daughter’s way to CA for Christmas. It was late when we checked in and Danny at the front desk was great. He greeted us and quickly got us checked in… his friendly demeanor was refreshing after 12 hours on the road!

First, let me say that I typically enjoy staying at this hotel. Albuquerque is my stopping point on my bi-annual trips to and from Phoenix, so I’ve stayed here at least a dozen times. The rooms are generally clean, the folks at the front desk are always friendly and helpful, and I like that it’s tucked a bit away from everything, which makes it a relatively quiet stay. With that being said, I seem to have at least one inconvenience every single time I stay at this particular property. I’m a Hilton Honors member, so I always book via the app, meaning I check in ahead of time, select my room manually, request digital key, etc. all on the app so I can just go straight to my room when I arrive. Literally every single time I’ve stayed here, I either don’t get the room I select manually, and/or the digital key is never activated, which forces me to go to the front desk to check in (despite diligently checking in several hours to a day ahead of time on the app). This pretty much defeats the purpose of using the app at all. I know, these are definitely first-world problems, but it’s just kind of annoying that I have at least one of these inconveniences every time I stay here…and it seems to be just at this Hilton property. The vast majority of my stays at other Hilton properties don’t have any of these issues. A couple other minor points…the beds are not the most comfortable, and the AC units in the rooms are adequate but on the weaker side. But again, these are minor complaints, and the hotel is overall enjoyable. I just wish the check-in process via the app would work like it does at most other Hilton properties.
