Hotel was very nice, parking is free and breakfast had a variety of options. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the lady at the front desk named Sadeen was very accommodating and helped with the check-in. The older gentleman was very friendly too. Overall the staff was really great and available to help with any questions or requests. To get to manhattan, it is pretty straightforward. You can find parking in the residential streets and take the NJT buses which bring you to port authority. Bus fare isnt too bad and the transit time takes around 30min. The only downside I would say is the location, it’s right off the highway and the entrance to the hotel is a little odd to get into from the highway.

I scheduled a trip to this area to visit the American Dream mall with my husband and two small children ages 6 and 4. It was my daughters 4th birthday. We booked this hotel so that they can enjoy the pool while we are in the hotel. The pool area was just as cold as the outside and the lighting was so dark, it was honestly scary and just completely unacceptable. The water was freezing, I’m honestly surprised there wasn’t icicles building up in the pool area. We asked the front desk what’s wrong with the pool they said they would turn on the heater and it will take 30 minutes. We come back down a hour later, and it was the same exact way. No changes. We went back to the front desk and they said they would check it. When they came back they said it shutoff by itself but that it is back up and running and to give it some time. I decided to shower my kids but 2 minutes into the shower, no hot water. There was no way we were staying there after that. I had to pack up my children at almost 8pm to go driving around looking for a safer, cleaner, warmer, and more reasonable hotel. I always stay at Hampton or Hiltons when I leave home. This was a complete disappointment. I cannot believe we experienced what we did.

The manager was very accommodating after the situation with insects in my room. But getting into the parking lot needs improvement and better direction on the maps apps.

This was by far the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. To begin with, the elevator became stuck while I was inside, and despite repeatedly knocking on the door and pressing the emergency button, no one responded. I was only able to get help because I contacted my wife, who then had to call the front desk to send maintenance. Secondly, it is nearly impossible to find anyone for assistance after midnight. The hotel should not advertise a 24-hour front desk if no one is actually available to help. Housekeeping was another major disappointment. We stayed multiple days and never had our room cleaned. One day, a housekeeper even left their card in the room but did not empty the trash or replace our wet towels. We also asked for makeup remover wipes, which are typically available at Hampton Inn, but we were told none were available. The worst part of our stay was the hot water situation. You cannot shower for longer than five minutes without the hot water running out. My wife and I literally timed it, and each shower lost hot water after five minutes—even when we waited an hour between showers. It was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the water pressure at the sink was so high that it splashed all over the counter every time we washed our hands. Finally, the breakfast was consistently disappointing, with no meat options available on any of the mornings we attempted to eat.
